What a shame ...
guy preventing adoring fbb and just ruining their business.
What a world are we living in.
For me the only solution is a deposit.
If a guy want to meet a fbb, than he must agree to pay a deposit.

Hello Kris  ^-^,

one question, how were this no show sessions booked? Stricktly via email or you spoke with them by phone?

I strongly believe that if they give you a telephone number (if you talk with the client), they give you a little piece of private information everything should be more serious and hopefully less no shows.

Polite Society

It comes down to this..If you're a decent guy, you offer a deposit. You don't need to be asked for one by the lady.

I've seen Kris a couple times and she is nothing short of amazing.  And a sweet person to boot.
Sad to see her treated this way.

It is always a shame when guys pull no shows and cancellations because it does ruin things for a lot of the honorable decent guys who make a commitment and live up to it.

The session industry is based on trust and whether it is a now show/cancellation by the man or a women who hangs onto a deposit when she does postpones or cancels her trip, both do the industry harm.

Regardless of whether I pay a deposit or not, I like to make sure that when I book a session, I am able to make the appointment when booking it.  If there is even the slightest possibility that I cannot make it, I play it safe and don't book.

 ;) Hi Emil
The majority of my sessions are booked via email.  Even though I am very discrete, because of privacy concerns, many dont like to call. Since I dont answer restricted or blocked calls, most of our communicating and booking is done via email. There have been times however when even after having spoken on the phone  with someone, I have had cancellations and even no-shows!
Polite: Society: you are correct!! It is always so nice to have someone offer a deposit! Often times just the fact that they offer makes me feel they are sincere and I tell them a deposit isn't necessary!
Marvin...yes I turned down 1 appt request due to an appt that ended up canceling. It does happen often and without enough notice that time can't be filled.
Thank you dukeblue.....xoxo

In my opinion you should always ask for a deposit from new guys, may be offering a little discount to encourage people do the deposit.
Unfortunately some people are satisfied just exchanging mails with some of the girls, jerking off in front of their computer and never intend to meet them.
With all the fees linked to a trip you just can´t afford people stealing your time, money and pleasure of work.

I had to cancel two sessions in the past couple of years. One was with Ms. Melissa who rightly kept my deposit. And the next time I sessioned with her, she gave me a discount for the deposit amount without me asking. The other was with Jana a couple of days out. No deposit was involved, but I felt bad about it, so I sent her a donation for the inconvenience.

I've found I'm rarely asked for deposits or references. I think the later only happened once. I've never been in a position where I've paid a deposit and the woman cancels, so I can't speak to that, but I don't doubt that men have lost deposits. Do any names spring to mind? If you're a regular reader of these forums, some should. And that's why I wouldn't worry about it. It's easy for us to research complaints and make decisions accordingly. It would be very difficult for the women to check on us.

So I'm pro-deposit, not just for them, but for us. Deposits would lead to fewer cancellations and encourage women to explore less traveled areas, or areas that currently have a bad rep. It might even help keep rates in check.

I will throw out an idea for the ladies. Perhaps they could make deposits optional with caveat that if you don't pay one, you're subject to getting bumped out of your time slot by somebody that does? Or perhaps requiring a deposit for the prime time slots? That way you can still deal with guys that are adamant about not paying one, but have a way to manage the risk.

Thank you all for your input and thoughts:)

Red, I hope to be back in the UK late this spring or early summer. I actually hope to have several "calculations" but no cancellations  ;)

Thanks again  :-*
Kris

I personally think you should move it up, since during mid spring there seems to be a drought of session girls in the UK, and summer is the complete opposite.

Though I might just be saying that because I want to see you earlier. *wink*

I think all of us in the UK should send a deposit so that you think about moving your session date up lol.

I'm not surprised so many women charge deposits now with the amount of no shows and cancellations that occur. I can think of a couple of the women I have got to know well and the amount of money it costs them on each trip (even to somewhere which should be lucrative, such as London), it often makes sense. The problem is that with the nature of these appointments, deposits do depend on trust. I have no problem paying deposits and have done so on a number of occasions in the past, however I would be unlikely to do so if the provider was not well known and I had not read reviews of them.

With Kris, being my favourite, I can certainly recommend her higher than anyone else and following my time with her, assure anyone that she is completely reliable were you to pay a deposit.

I also agree with the above - please come to London earlier Kris  :)

I know Kris for some years now and she is really great.
Good thing it is very hard for me to set a session with her (I am far far away) or I would be a very poor man.
It hurts me to hear about her (and other ladies in this line of work) being stood up as they give us lots of joy.
I must admit that I'm very much against depositing and my main reason is market power (we are the customers).
However it is true that we are anonymous and the ladies are famous so if the man is not showing he is not punished but if the lady takes the money and runs it will probably will be all over the internet.
It's a big question but when a lady that I truly love (Kris) get hurt it changes things.
I can only wish you will never have such bad experience again.

On a personal note to Kris - Please consider coming to my corner of the world.

Kris,
Thanks for posting. I think you're being too understanding. You should ask for deposits. All someone has to do is go to your site You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and click donate. If they hesitate, then ask for references. Offer a discount if someone gives a deposit.  Just my .02

I know a lot of FBBs who session. My understanding is - once the boy makes the first session appointment, sees how much fun it is ( and Kris is o whole lotta fun :woohoo: ) there is a good chance he will become a good, steady, repeat customer. And that's what we all want. So I understand that you, Kris, want to get that first appointment booked, and anything that gets into the way of it (like asking for a deposit) is bad for business.

So don't get too down about the no-shows. Treat them nice. Sometimes they do book on your next trip to the city and become regulars. Look upon a no-show as a sales call where you didn't get the sale. It's not the end of the world. It's part of sales.  Don't take it personal.
For the record, I have never missed a session, I was a late once, about 9 years ago, but I've seen this FBB about 20 times.

Just my .02 cents, but with someone of Kris's reputation, I would gladly put the deposit. With other ladies of less stellar histories, I would pay only upon entry. Which means I probably wouldn't enter in the first place...

I am not sure how you can take no shows personally as someone booked a session and then consciously took the descision not to turn up.  It's not like agreeing to buy a car and not turning up at the dealers to buy it because you've changed your mind.

.

its not that easy ...first, travelling costs alot of money....very easy it can get into red letters
second, if there are more than one guest for a time slot, and the traveler decided to give it to the one that dont show up, it is actual a robery
