I had a session scheduled with Maxine this past Saturday at 4:30pm with a deposit being paid upfront on Thursday.

The texted me at 11:30am that Saturday and I texted her back confirming at 1:30pm. She told me that she cancelled my session and I had forfeited my deposit because I did not respond by 1:00pm. I told her that she was unreasonable by cancelling the session and keeping my deposit. She told me that I had wasted her time and that I was disorganized.

Bottom line is that I confirmed with her 3 hours before the session which is ample time before the session. A reasonable person would not send a deposit and than not show up to a session. A reasonable sessionette would have taken the session particularly when a deposit was made to secure the session.

I looked up her SG and don't see any rules by her.

I figure that she may have had either a regular or a bigger $ session request for your time period and assumed that a text on
session day would be answered more quickly. If she took another session instead, she should have refunded your deposit.
If she didn't book your spot or gave up because you were her only session that day and she rather do something else, she still should
have refunded you.

Another option would be to credit your deposit for use another time.

If not resolved, write a review on SG.

But who knows how far Jennifer Thomas may lean in favour of sessionettes and not approve the review. In sessioning with other girls they have told me quite a few stories of guys booking sessions without a deposit and not following through.

Oh it definitely happens and there are a whole host of reasons why someone would pay a deposit and then not show, some valid and some less so - but that being said if it played out as described here that's definitely NOT particularly reasonable and is tantamount to running a scam. She has literally no guidelines on her SG profile, what rules did she spell out in email before booking, anything?

Thanks for sharing your experience. That's ridiculous. If you paid the deposit on Thursday she should have assumed you'd be there on Saturday, not give you a random window of 2hrs where if you don't reply back you lose your spot and the deposit. There are a million valid reasons why you may not be able to reply in that window.

Thats why i never do a deposit. Missed out on some good wrestlers, but references have helped me. That's ridiculous she wouldn't see u. Will scratch her off wrestlers to meet

To add additional context it was in her 12:30pm text where she added the "reply by 1:00pm or forfeit your deposit" rule.

It appears the Jen T approved my review/complaint on session girls.

Now I'm just waiting for Maxine Striker come on here or the session girls site and rant how disorganized I am for not responded within her time window.

Since your negative review was posted on SG, that seems to indicate that you have a valid complaint.

Maxine would be wise to refund the deposit, in exchange to have the review deleted.

I'm not in the habit of taking flyers on ladies, so while I don't like them I have less hatred toward deposits than a lot of guys around here. But there's a template for doing this. You agree on the basic details for time and place, she asks for the deposit, you send it, her proper response is "See you on Sunday at 2." At that point things are confirmed until one of you tells the other they need to cancel. What Maxine did here is bullshit and totally unprofessional, for any profession. Jennifer needs to wipe the profile, which to her credit she's always been happy to do if presented a good case.

Personally I'm always happy to pay a deposit as I know how unstable the industry is for the women, particularly with the frequent cancellations and no shows. However, the sad thing is that stories like this understandingly make people more wary of paying deposits.
If this story is true I hope this puts people off seeing her and pushes them towards the reliable session women who have integrity.

I did not like to pay deposits... Until I realized (thanks to Arekah) how it could help to begin the session much more directly, with no type of suspicion or hesitation.

According to what she says on other forums, the site has been quite hijacked so not a lot of control from her. She does manage the events site.
