Regarding deposits, you should not be afraid to deposit $100 with the recommended sessionettes. 
Just be careful with new girls and those wanting 50%.    Some of the girls stop asking for deposits after you become a regular of theirs. 
I also believe that we should have an agreed upon date, time and general location (if important) before depositing.

I obviously haven't read OP's exact conversation with her, but to me it sounds like she arbitrarily made up a rule on the day of the session that the client needs to confirm 3 hours and 30 minutes ahead of time. Like 3 hours and 30 minutes ahead of time is good, but 3 hours is too late.

I'm betting that if you had responded at 1pm, should would have said that was too late and you needed to respond by 12:30pm. Why does she need confirmation exactly that far ahead if the deposit was paid for and the time was already set? Sounds like she's just coming up with rules on the day of in hopes that she can make you "forfeit" the deposit and cancel the session.

If it really went down like OP said it did, I would never book a session with this woman and I hope Jennifer bans her ass.

This has gone beyond the deposit issue. Outing/doxing someone on the internet is a serious threat. There are other ways for her to respond. You don't go there over a business dispute.

Hard to believe this type of behavior is coming from a Canadian. You are entitled to  a refund of your deposit. Hope she comes to her senses and does the right thing.

I'm a Canadian myself.   Yes, as a general rule Canadians are polite and reasonable but from experience in all areas of life there many Canadians (although the small minority) are completely unreasonable.  This isn't first Canadian that I couldn't reason with and it likely won't be the last.


Yes in my dealings with Americans there is likely a higher percentage that are unreasonable but I find the majority or Americans are reasonable.

This is not a valid excuse for cancelling a booked session with a paid deposit. Accepting a deposit with an agreed time is a confirmation by both parties. Threatening to reveal your name and number is an extreme retaliation for a deposit dispute. Even if she returned the deposit or rescheduled the session I would avoid her entirely. It's too bad because her profile looked promising.

I wouldn't call it a scam. She's advertising her rates is all. Sure, they're high as hell but nobody is being fooled or forced into taking up her offer.

Now, the thing she pulled a couple years ago with that guy was definitely a scam. In fact it was more than a scam. It was extortion. I would steer far and wide away from this woman.
