I agree with the post above saying there really isn't a "going rate" for videos. I suppose some people are impulsive and will drop $300 for a 5 minute video, but how many of these people are out there and how often will they do this before they realize they're paying $6000/hr for video work?

And while $1000/hr for an in person session is a good deal in comparison, it's still a rate very few schmoes will pay for. $1000 just sounds like a lot. To an impulsive person who has trouble doing math, they might actually opt for a 5 minute video for $300...especially if they're the shy type who would chicken out of meeting someone in person.

While anything is possible, it's unlikely anyone is paying $300 for a 5 minute video.  I imagine she just meant that a short video, at little cost in time or resources to her, could generate income just as quickly, whether on OF or elsewhere, without the discomfort of a live encounter.

There are definitely people that pay that much or more. But they probably aren't paying that much on a regular basis. If someone really wants to see a specific person doing a very specific thing in a specific outfit, they may pay almost any amount.

$1000 not worth it. The only UTR i had was the most i ever payed at $500 but she was a 5'9 210 pound off season beautiful black woman who was really strong for lift and carry and basically no rules sensually/sexually. Really is my top 3 session!

I definitely think there's something to be said for people who are UTR.  The younger generations now think that they are all going to be some kind of influencer or that they are entitled to a quick buck. Supply and demand eventually will bring people down to the rate that they will find people will respond to.

Yep many think they will have a financially successful career in the fitness/bodybuilding industry.. We know for the most part that is not the case.  Throw in young ladies looking for the fit couple/swole mate thing but never really finding one or not having long term relationships is something that is more noticeable with the rise of social media especially IG.

All those things which can be red flags are also why UTR is also a possibility.. The Need for money and/or attention is always there.

If she can get that $$ more power to her but still till the day I die no one is worth $1000 an hr idc who it is or how great the session. But usually UTR rates especially if you trying to get someone brand new will be on the higher end..thrown added travel cost (gas/tolls) and getting hotel it adds up.

$1000 for a session reminded me of a story about a couple who are friends getting invited to a destination wedding for a family member. The price for the three day weekend was $5000. I blurted out, "You want a room at the hotel, not buy the building."

That being said, I agree with nujerz about the cost and added expenses for someone who is UTR. Last year I discussed flying to me an all-but-retired from sessionette I know well who has a fulltime job now. The plan was to fly her in (I'd use frequent flyer miles); and book a hotel near the airport (one night). She'd give me a break on the tribute and I'd probably drive her to and from the airport, especially when I suggested I'd have no problem with her doing sessions with others. (The plan was to session with her the afternoon she check in and the morning she checked out.) Our schedules didn't match last  year but maybe this summer.

The bottom line is I'd make that serious investment if I know the lady, not someone I never sessioned with before.

Did you run into any entitlement (high maintenance) issues in terms of travel? For example, she wants you to pay for her meals, for a weekend gym pass, she wants you to fly her first class, or whatever. I know some girls fly as cheap as possible (Frontier/Spirit) and I wouldn't fly them in on that. But I might rather just fly to them if they demanded only direct flights (let's say a 1-stop itinerary saves you $200 or something). I might also get nervous about her trying to book back-to-backs and push your time around or whatever. Most girls wouldn't do this, but some need the money enough that they would try to stack as many sessions up as possible.

I wasn't even talking strictly sessions. Just it sets completely unrealistic expectations for the dating world. Makes everyone think they can be a fitness "coach" / influencer, selling copy/paste courses, or that they can all be airfeenfee slumlords. Just today I saw a post on another forum about one girl who got dressed, did her hair etc., set up a tripod, and staged a mental breakdown on camera so she could post it for likes / follows. Most pathetic thing I've seen in my life LOL. These people are high school forever.

Inside the fitness world, of course they all think they can be a great influencer, and that they all can make a clothing line. Amazing to me when someone with 2k followers I've talked to once messages me telling me she's making a clothing line lol. All these small-time clothing lines end up being pretty much the same thing anyway. Then they start up some drama about "stealing" designs.
