Getting followed by staff members at Session hotel

So whenever I book a session I always have this underlying concern that when I get to the hotel for the meetup itself one of the staff would stop me and ask what I was doing there. Of course if ever such an event would occur I would have a prepared answer "Just meeting a friend"  but would still rather avoid such a situation in any case.

Today that fear had become manifest when I went for a session I had scheduled in the city. Up until today I've had about 10 sessions in my life that went without out incident and thought today would be no different. I arrive to the hotel by taxi maybe 20 mins before the session starts. I hung around for a bit outside(I never enter the hotel itself until its time for the session). After a while I noticed a guy in a suit walking back and forth around the front door entrance, didn't really paid any heed to him at the time, figured out he was a member of staff, probably the manager. I had actually been a good distance away from him. I'm listening to ipod, on iphone, didn't really think I came off as suspicious at the time.

5 minutes before session, I call up the lady I'm seeing, tell her I'm there. Unlike previous occasions where she would give me her room number, she tells me to get into the elevator and press -1 to go to athe below ground level floor where she herself would come down the elevator to meet me there and take me to her room.

So finally I enter the hotel and the guy in the suit who had been there follows me in and asks me "Are you okay sir?". I answer "Yeah" and kept on walking, I get to the elevator, get in and press -1. As the elevator descends I see the guy casually stroll up the lift I just got in(had clear glass doors) and watched me as I went down.

I get to my floor, I look around the hallway and start getting the feeling that non-staff aren't meant to be down here. At this point I was starting to freak as I thought any minute now that guy would be coming down the lift after me. But thankfully I didn't have to wait long as my sessionette came down and brought me up to the 4th floor to her room. Thankfully nothing else happened from there on. We had a good uneventually session, no inquisitive staff came knocking on the door as I thought might happen. The session ends, we part ways, I get back to the ground floor and the guy isn't there thankfully, I got out of there, no-one approached me again and got a taxi to my bus.

Whilst the ordeal only lasted like 3 minutes it feels like an eternity when you're in that situation. I seriously hope she doesn't pick that hotel again, that she'll go back to the other one she stuck with previously.

Wonder if anyone else ever found themselves in a similar situation?

The take here seems to be it's bad for hotel staff to do their job. What you did is unusual, most folks who loiter outside a hotel are doing so because someone is coming out to meet them, not the other way around. Assuming I didn't need to go to the desk to be buzzed up, I've had staff greet me but never follow.

Not at all. What you've said makes sense. It is something for me to reflect upon.

If you can get a good price, check in to the hotel where the session is taking place. This gives us/you the opportunity to shower and be clean for the session. If you don't want to stay at the hotel, buy something to drink or eat at the hotel coffee shop or restaurant. Spend a little money at the hotel and usually the staff won't be suspicious. Get the receipt from the restaurant. Good luck to all of us in making it to our next session.

Arriving by Taxi and standing out front, unless smoking, might look suspicious to a manager/security.   The rest probably
don't notice.

I think we feel more suspicious than we look to others.  If the girl doesn't have to come get us, it's more relaxing to enter.

I've had numerous session over the course of 16 years and so far thankfully the only response/greeting I received from the hotel staff is "Hi". Also, I've made it habit to time my trip so that I arrive at the hotel with just 5 - 10 minutes before the session in order to reduce the risk of looking suspicious or like someone who doesn't belong there.

Usually I try to arrive early and sit in my car until I'm not early, and go in then, and try to identify where the elevators are ASAP (if it's not obvious, usually the girl explains over text anyway) so I don't look lost. If it's a place like NYC where you're not driving, I guess you could walk around for a few minutes a block away or sit in a shop next door or something and not stand directly in front of the hotel where employees might get suspicious.

If it's a place like NYC where hotels are super expensive, I wouldn't do it, and if it happens to be between 11 am and 3 pm, you'd need a 2-night stay anyway. Also some girls will freak out and feel like they're being stalked if they see you're "staying" in their hotel.

I agree. Most people are not hyper-alert, or simply aren't interested in your affairs. You could land a plane in front of the hotel and many people glued to their phones wouldn't even notice.
I'm abracadabra. I created ark, uxello, uxiel multi accounts on Saradas to manupilate reviews but moderators banned all my fake accounts.
I understand that if I create another fake account(s), modearators will ban me permanently from Saradas.

Has not happened to me. As others said that the way you behaved probably alerted that particular staff member, wether it was warranted or not. Pretty sure hotels know professionals book their rooms too and don't care as long as the bills are paid and there are no complaints.

Staff is trained to look for something out of the ordinary, especially with the state of the world. The best thing is to just be confident and walk in like you know what you are doing. (Also good advice if you are a tourist somewhere) If you need a few extra moments duck into the bathroom and compose yourself or send a text message if needed. Be sure to clean up and wash your hands :) I have had one ask something and I just said I had a business meeting and asked where the elevator was.

They really don't care what goes on as long as it is not illegal and attract negative attention.

Well, the only thing I'm thinking you didn't do wrong was to carry an AK-15 in with you!!!  This is not meant to be funny, but you're living in a very different world today and what I'm saying is you need to be more aware of what's going on in it!!!

God show may you show your mercy upon Uvalde, Tx....

That's the unusual part of the story for me. I've only had a woman meet me in the lobby once in a hotel where the elevator didn't require a keycard. She was relatively new to sessions and was doing it for her own comfort. But it sounds as though you're not a first-time client of this woman, so I'm wondering if an incident had already occurred involving her, a client, and the staff which left them on alert. The fact that she wanted to meet you on a subfloor implies she didn't want them seeing her. You should ask her about that.

gijohn13

Honestly I consider myself fortunate the guy didn't decide to get into the elevator with me.

You got a cab to a hotel then stood outside for 15+ min doing nothing. There is literally no reason for a customer/worker of the hotel to do that.

You didn't act like a customer, worker or even a celeb watcher.

Just take a walk next time you're that early. Or even better, get the cab to stop before the hotel so they dont notice you getting there, leaving, and then coming back

You arrive at the hotel 3 minutes early. You get the room number. You walk briskly to the elevator. Get in and go up.

Any delay should be spent staring at your phone. That's your prop.

If you arrive early, stay away from the front door.
