=====================================

"Boss. We got a problem. It's that woman again."

Kazuhira Miller's voice always sounded more strained and worried over radio transmission.

"What's wrong, Kaz?" Big Boss plugged his other ear to hear his brother-in-arms over the sound of the copter rotors above his head.

"Nothing's wrong." Ocelot's unmistakable Southern twang butted in. "Miller's just losing his mind because she put on a couple pounds."

"Overnight?" Miller replied, "Nobody puts on... 20, 30 pounds just like that. Maybe more. Especially when she's stuck behind bars! She doesn't eat. She doesn't talk. She just lies there getting more... well... maybe you should see her for yourself."

"What do you mean? She put on some weight? So... what?" the Boss said.

"She's looking strong enough to take down any soldier on base. She's the support you've been looking for out in the field." Ocelot let out a long, slow whistle like he was admiring something.

"Look just get back to Mother Base soon as you can." Miller was practically frantic, "There's no telling what she might do--"

"C'mon, get serious," Ocelot snorted, "The Boss trusts her and that's good enough for me!"

"She has accompanied me on missions with no issues," Big Boss admitted.

"She's a threat. The men are... they're losing focus. Morale is a mess, not to mention discipline. Just hurry back ASAP." Then Miller ended the call.

The offshore installation that served as their Mother Base spread out over the dark blue sea like an orange spider's web. Sunlight beaming down from a cloudless sky glinted off its buildings, antennas, cargo, weapons, vehicles, and cranes. There was the black logo of the Diamond Dogs, the new banner for all the disenfranchised and disillusioned soldiers that had left their nations and governments behind to live in freedom with the legendary Big Boss. For them, Mother Base was home and hope all in one.

The helicopter hovered over the facility like a hungry vulture before alighting on its helipad, and the legendary soldier himself stepped out onto the platform.

"Welcome back, Snake," Ocelot said, standing at the edge of the pad with D-Dog beside him. "Miller is waiting at the girl's cage."

Snake followed Ocelot and lit up a cigar as they got into a nearby vehicle to cross the struts. Soldiers in uniform happily saluted as they passed by, even though their Boss was covered in layers of dirt and sweat and blood. Maybe because of it. Ocelot drove while Snake took long drags at his cigar, his silence prompting the younger man to talk, as usual.

"...Kaz has got it wrong, you know," Ocelot cast glances at Snake from the sides of his eyes, "I know you and Miller went through hell together, and you trust the man. I know you trust the woman, too. When we get there you'll see--"

"What?" Snake exhaled a puff of smoke.

"It's been a week since you've seen her, right? Just... be ready. Her physique has changed. Like she's on some kind of anabolic steroid. But not one that I've ever seen."

"You're kidding... Where's she getting it from?" Snake replied.

"We don't know. And I wish I could say I was kidding. Hard to believe your eyes, really. She was quite... womanly, as you know. The men we assigned to patrol the area surrounding her cell were all eager to be stationed there," Ocelot drummed his fingers on the wheel, "That eagerness has tipped the scales of the morale here. Miller was right about that at least. In fighting has broken out for duty privileges near her cell, if you can believe it."

Snake did. He'd been thinking about her a lot, as well: the night he'd spent just sitting beside her cell, without sharing a word, and the missions they'd completed together. She was quite a sniper, maybe the best he'd ever seen. Of course, he was a man, too.

All that smooth, exposed skin. Her sweet but mysterious face. The way her black bikini top--a goddamn bikini top in the field, Snake thought--how it barely hung on to her huge juggs, like it was constantly ready to snap right off. The thong was overkill and the torn nylons over those long, toned but curvaceous didn't help, either. No wonder the men were enraptured. Snake could hardly keep her out of his mind, himself. She was a wet dream come true. Considering she apparently survived off of nothing but water and sunlight like some kind of plant, he had seen her literally wet quite often. What a sight.

"Here," Ocelot said, pulling the vehicle up beside a railing and hopping out.

Snake led the way, Ocelot and the dog behind, and they descended a flight of stairs into a cargo hold with the shutter doors above open to the bright blue sky. Sunlight filled the hold. Snake heard running water.

"Boss. Got any idea what to make of this?" Kazuhira Miller said as they joined him where he stood leaning heavily against his cane. His free hand held onto a bar of the woman's cage. She was inside, bathing under a showerhead... or was she drinking?

"Well... damn." The Boss was speechless.

She had grown. The woman's scanty clothing looked even tinier than ever, hugging her new curves, looking practically painted onto her chest and even fuller breasts, new tears in her leggings. But she wasn't just curvier. While she was fit before, athletic, but now she had become downright muscular.

The water from her shower trickled down her head, face, chest, and abs, beads of water shimmering on her shoulders. Her eyes shut, she reached up and ran the water through her hair, gasping at the cold. As her arms curled, biceps like tennis balls bunched into little peaks, her forearms squirming with newfound definition. Overhead, one of the men whistled from the group of soldiers that had gathered.

She turned around, the water running like tiny rivers between the corrugated musculature of her back. Arms still raised, her torso was like a huge V, meaty lats and triceps seeming to swell right in front of the hungry crowd. The water trickled down to her wide hips and followed the black thong between her ass cheeks; she was looking curvier everywhere with all that extra muscle mass, but nowhere was it more obvious than her heavy, bulging glutes. She bent to wash down her legs, her ass and thighs forming the perfect heart shape. Still bent over, she glanced over one of her meaty shoulders, directly at Snake, the knowing look in her eyes and the curl at one corner of her mouth undeniable.

And it took Snake's breath away. It was as if she whispered to him through the bars: There's nothing you can do, big man.

"Quiet." Snake's low growl alerted the men along the railings above the hold that it was time to return to their posts, and it informed the woman of his arrival.

Quiet turned toward Snake, cold look on her face, though he thought he still detected that phantom of a smile at the edges of her mouth, although the seductive taunt pained him. He wasn't ready for this. They weren't ready. Mother Base had only recently been built. How could they handle someone like this?

Miller was always adept at picking up on Snake's thoughts.

"We still don't fully understand her powers. We know she can essentially come and go at will. The bars are more for the patrol's peace of mind," Miller adjusted his weight and winced, "We thought it might have something to do with her hydration so we reduced her consumption." As he talked, Quiet's shower shut off automatically and she stood up. "But she doesn't seem to be afraid of anything or anyone. Except maybe you, Boss."

Snake was already stepping toward the iron bars. He put his elbows against them and leaned in until his face was pressed against her cage. A cage. Snake chuckled inside. He'd seen this muscle-bound assassin disable a fighter jet with a single bullet, travel at speeds faster than any normal human could run, even teleport. Maybe there was nothing she couldn't do. And keeping her in a cage?

"Ludicrous," he muttered.

Quiet faced him and turned her head while looking into his face. Snake felt like he was in the trap, not her. She was the predator. She was studying him the same way he studied enemy movements at a distance through binoculars, scrutinizing every chink in the armor, every weak point, until finding the perfect way to penetrate all defenses. The art of stealth in warfare. Guerrilla tactics burning behind her eyes. But Snake met her gaze, unflinching.

Then she stepped toward him, arms at her sides, hands running over her the soft lines defining the muscles in her thighs, the grooves of her obliques pointing down toward her thong, the cobbled surface of her stomach on that tiny waist. Swaying her hips from side to side, she playfully ran a finger up between her breasts, which looked like they'd swollen a few cup sizes on her remarkably wider chest. It was only when she came right up alongside the bars herself that Snake noticed that she was now taller than him. Quiet looked down into his eyes from her vantage of a few inches--thankfully just a few inches--placing her hands against the bars and giving Snake the perfect view of her cleavage squeezed tight by her black bikini top.

Snake refused to give in to the bait. He kept his one good eye trained on her face. She was pretty, even without makeup, living in a cage out in the middle of the ocean.

Wait... was that a wink, or did he just imagine it?

Miller cleared his throat. "She doesn't belong here. She's not a soldier. She's not our prisoner, either." Then in a lower tone, "We can't even properly hold her."

"We don't have to," Ocelot shot back, "Quiet can accompany the Boss on the field, provide him with more than adequate support. Her mission performance has been extraordinary."

"And what about the men?" Miller retorted, his voice starting to hiss, "The Diamond Dogs are our family now and we need to protect them, Snake. Some of them," he hushed himself again, slipping into a shrill whisper, "some of them are calling her a witch. I'm telling you this is extremely bad for morale. It's a mistake that she was even brought here."

"What if she wants to be here? Ever thought about that?" Ocelot tried putting a hand on Miller's shoulder but Miller shrugged it off. "All I'm saying is every person that serves here on Mother Base does so because Big Boss is their idol. He's the legendary soldier and this is a haven for soldiers tired of being used and abused by their own countries. How could we just throw her away when we left our own nations to band together here, to live and fight and be free?"

"She is not a soldier. She's a monster," Miller insisted.

"She's just like you and me, a soldier without borders... Except for this pen you cooped her up in!" Ocelot folded his arms.

"Snake, look--" Miller began but the Boss raised his mechanical hand and silenced both men.

While his two wise men had bickered among themselves, he had tried to peel away the layers of Quiet's face and peer into her naked mind.

"Can she be trusted? Is she an asset? Is she dangerous?" Snake sounded tired but satisfied, "I think you're asking the wrong questions."

There was that haunting smirk again. Snake smiled back and turned toward the two men behind him.

"Tomorrow, she'll assist me on a mission. Small village. Africa. Neutralizing targets non-lethally. That'll be the test." Snake left them and headed for the stairs. "For now, if she asks for a glass of water, give it to her."

The hot, humid air clung to Snake's body like the blood his hands were soaked in. As he leaped from the helicopter into the marsh below, the tepid water splashed all over him, but all the water in the world couldn't wash the blood away. He glanced over his shoulder. Quiet couldn't be seen but the sunshine glinting off her sniper rifle gave her away. She had alighted on a stony outcropping overshadowed by trees, the perfect vantage point.

Snake made a mental note that she avoided landing in the marsh with him. Was it for the firing position or was it just the water?

Quiet's rifle suddenly cracked. A bullet struck the mud at Snake's feet. In an instant, he had his own weapon trained on her position, finger on the trigger. A moment later, Snake might've added more blood to his hands, but he soon noticed the dead Black Mamba bubbling up from the marsh. The highly venomous serpent had a bullet hole clean through its head. The irony wasn't lost on Snake and he felt a sigh of relief. He trusted Kaz more than he trusted himself, sometimes, but he had just gained a measure of trust for Quiet, too.

Together, they penetrated the jungle as they headed toward their destination. Quiet's gentle singing was in his ear at all times, although he had yet to catch a glimpse of her since they landed. She could propel herself forward, even through the brush, at high speed, scouting ahead and doubling back.

When the trees thinned, Snake slowed to a crawl and barked into his radio.

"Quiet."

A burst of foliage, a cloud of leaves and dust, and she was down in the lakeside valley below, concealed among the rusted shanties. Snake wondered if she really understood the mission parameters. This was supposed to be about stealth, taking down military forces without being seen and without killing. A certain benefactor would pay handsomely for the arrest of these men, but Snake couldn't figure why she didn't just knock them all out with her tranquilizers.

As he watched through his pair of binoculars, a soldier on patrol was suddenly struck by a gale force wind and he disappeared. Another soldier on a watchtower vanished without a trace, the wind rattling the wooden structure he stood on mere moments earlier. Snake frowned and peered above the rim of the binoculars.

Even an armored vehicle stopped dead in its tracks. Its doors flew open as the miniature hurricane hit it. The driver's door was torn right off its hinges. One of the men dove out, screaming as he tried to scramble away, but the wind picked him up just like the rest of his comrades. The village was suddenly, eerily quiet.

Snake took the opportunity to carefully creep down the hillside and get up alongside one of the shacks. He took his time examining the surrounding area. Nobody. He peered around the corner, dove behind a pile of barrels, crawled on his stomach to the edge of the barracks, and gasped, looking up from the dust at a goddess.

Quiet's body was entirely covered in gold, which had been solely designed for psychological dissonance on the battlefield rather than camouflage. It was Snake's first time seeing her wear it and the effect was just as surreal, disarming, and awe-inspiring as the designers back at R&D had hoped. Somewhere in Snake's brain, he cursed those research and development boys for coming up with a full body paint gimmick for a woman of Quiet's... proportions.

The sunlight behind Quiet's head lit her up, a gilded silhouette, reflecting off of every muscle on her body. Her back to Snake, the daylight caught on her hair, head, and shoulders, her traps, and upper back muscles. Her torso was half-twisted where she stood, the light leaping from her armored abs. Beads of her sweat shone like diamonds on her skin. She was a statue of feminine power, all shimmering curves and bunching muscles.

She not only towered over Snake where he lay in the dirt but she also stood above a pile of crumpled, groaning, half-conscious soldiers. Quiet glared at the man she held in her hand, lifting him above her head a foot or two off the ground. He squirmed like a worm on a hook but her grip was simply too powerful to resist, her golden fingers almost buried under his jaw. Her arm barely moved, a resolute pillar of strength, though he thrashed and kicked. There was nothing he could do.

Quiet reached with her free hand and swiftly grabbed his crotch. The man wheezed. She tightened her grip. His poor cock and balls, the bulge in his pants seemed like it might explode under her vice-like hold. There was that ghost of a grin on her soft lips again.

She clenched her fist even tighter. The soldier's face twisted into a mask of pain and pleasure before he collapsed and she tossed him onto the pile of spent and exhausted men.

That's when Snake heard the motor start up on a nearby boat. He hustled to his feet and saw the escaping soldier a few yards away pulling away from the shore of the lake.

"Quiet!"

In a blur of gold and dust, Quiet blasted past Snake and was at the water's edge in the blink of an eye. She dove headfirst into the white waves. A horrible crunching sound of wood splintering was soon drowned out by the metal rotors and the engine motor breaking apart. Black smoke guttered from the spot where the wreckage of the boat was sinking into the lake as Snake ran up to the shore to find what had happened.

Quiet's head broke the surface and the rest of her slowly raised out of the water, walking along the lake bed. The water cascaded over her golden muscles, down her thick neck and the hills of her traps and--wider apart than Snake thought possible--the bowling balls of her shoulders. Her chest was next, two breasts like beachballs thrusting from the thick slabs of her pecs. How her bikini top held on at all was a miracle, although the trembling, fraying fabric looked like it was on its way out. It came sooner than later: her bikini split in half, popping off her chest. Her two magnificent boobs swayed free, though Quiet didn't seem to notice or care.

She wasn't even out of the water yet, but she already seemed to loom over Snake where he stood speechless on the bank. Her lats flared, her torso resembling a lightbulb mounted onto her slim, tightly-muscled waist. Then her hips came next, surging outward, followed by her upper thighs, which were even wider still.

Quiet waded out of the water, dripping wet but looking pleased with herself. Snake verified that she was not only bigger but taller. Instead of standing only an inch or so above him now, she had shot up several feet. His head only came up to her ample bosom.

It was only then that he noticed the waterlogged soldier under her arm. She knelt and set him down, then rising up to her full height, looked down at Snake almost smugly, satisfied with her work. Her head seemed tiny above the cliff of her chest.

Quiet raised one of her arms, slowly, almost sensually. Snake thought he could hear a sound like latex stretching as she curled her arm, flexing a bicep that swelled and swelled until it was bigger than his head. The quivering, glistening, gilded muscle balled and peaked.

She made sure he got a good long look as if to say: Mission complete. What's next?

And although Snake's brain was rapidly shutting down its more rational centers, he did have the self-control to make one more mental note: so it really is the water!

"Then we shut it off!" Miller gritted his teeth and pounded the table. He was seated beside Snake and Ocelot in an interior office.

"We can't just shut it off, Kaz. That'd be like starving her to death." His soft but decisive tone meant there'd be no further argument.

Ocelot looked pleased but Miller resembled a pot boiling over. Still, he had the sense to bite his tongue when the Boss spoke. The air was gloomy over Mother Base. Outside the window, they could see it, the sky darkening and the sea turning gray.

"What else can we do?" Ocelot offered, "She already looks like she's blown way past normal limitations. I mean, I've never seen a female that big. There ain't a bodybuilder that comes close."

"You're right..." Miller sighed, sank back in his chair, "I had one of our nurses look her over. Spooked the poor woman but she told me she weighed over 300lbs now. Three hundred! She gained over a hundred pounds since this morning? Most of it looks like it's going to her muscle mass, but there's the additional height, too."

"If she doesn't have any limits, then we really need to decide on a course of action," Ocelot paused. "Boss?"

"What if she outgrows the base?" Snake took in a long breath and let it out slowly.

"This is insane," Kaz spoke up, "Do you hear yourselves? What if she outgrows Mother Base? This is way beyond what we're capable of handling! If she gets any bigger--"

"She'll simply be a bigger asset," Snake replied, staring down at the table. "Out on the mission, she saved my life. She took down those soldiers like they were kids playing with plastic guns. Hell, a bullet might not even stop her."

"In the nuclear era, we've stumbled upon a new weapon of mass destruction..." Ocelot mused.

"It's raining."

At Miller's remark, the three men turned to look out the window. Heavy streaks of water poured out of the sky. An oceanic storm had blown in. Through the wind-blasted rain, they could hardly make out the rest of the base, except for a few blinking lights. The hub that held Quiet had completely disappeared behind the storm. There was a flash of lightning.

"Shit!" Snake jumped to his feet and made for the door.

Right behind him, Ocelot yelled orders into his radio, "Close strut seven's bay doors! Close all of them! Now!"

Static was the only response.

Left behind, Kazuhira Miller twirled his cane in one hand and lit up a cigarette, staring out the window and wondering what would happen to his home.

Ocelot put all his driving skills to the test but the vehicle still screeched as it skidded to a stop, slamming against a nearby wall. He and Snake hopped out and sped down the stairs. Ocelot kept screaming into his radio. There were no soldiers in sight.

"Snake!" he shouted over the howling storm, "I'll get up to the control tower! They've got to close the doors before too much water gets in!"

Both men heard a groaning sound, like metal being tested to its limits, or the suspensions under their feet suddenly taxed with new weight...

Snake left Ocelot to his task and stepped down the last set of stairs.

"...Quiet?"

There was a low, rumbling moan, part metal, part human. Snake turned the corner and there she was. Quiet looked up at him, a mixture of excitement, fear, and even madness frozen on her face, which seemed nearly swallowed by the rest of her body, a soaked and seething mass of impossible muscles drenched in the rain. How long she had been drinking up the water and moisture in the air, converting it into pure power, Snake couldn't guess.

Quiet was down on her knees, her legs spread wide to accommodate the new girth of her tremendous thighs. Her hands were pressed against the shattered floorboards beneath her, her biceps and forearms fighting for space with her gargantuan chest. Her pecs were so big they were puffing up under her chin, breasts so over-inflated that her tit flesh was gushing between her arms, under her armpits, around her elbows, anywhere it could find space. Her bulging triceps and her heaving back pushed against her cage, bending the thick bars. She was a meat ball of smooth skin layered over expanding muscle mass. And she was trapped.

"Goddammit!" Snake looked around, hoping to find something to cut the bars with, or maybe he could spot the guard with a key. "Too late!" he said aloud. "Quiet!"

Her eyes perked up.

"Get out of there! Push!"

She nodded, struggled to get her arms and knees under her swollen weight. Every effort caused her hyper-pumped musculature to flex beyond reason, making it increasingly difficult for her to even move in that confined space. The last remnants of her leggings ripped to absolute shreds but the bars above the cage began to bend. She gritted her teeth and roared. The bars split open!

The strut began to groan again as she rose out of her cage like a butterfly coming out of its cocoon. Up and up, higher and higher, she raised to her full height, some 20 or even 30 feet above Snake. All he could see from his angle was her massive legs, so densely packed with muscle and yet so undeniably feminine. Her voluptuous mass caught the electric lights and shimmered as she moved, diamond-shaped calves leading up to rock hard but curvaceous thighs rent with deep canyons between each muscle group. Her abdominals looked like the shingles of a roof on her slender waist, rumbling beneath a chest that resembled the prow of a ship, her gigantic boobs jiggling in the cold rain, an umbrella of flesh raised high over Snake's head and even the cargo hold where she'd been kept a prisoner. She took a single step, turning in place, the twin globes of her bare ass coming in view.

"Wow... dummy thicc!" Snake's jaw dropped. He couldn't see her face at all.

Quiet steadied herself by grabbing onto the rails, though they bent like grass under her weight. That was when Snake heard it again: the groaning beneath their feet. He recalled the blueprints of Mother Base, how Quiet's strut was a recent addition to the cargo area, branching off from the main hub.

How much water had she absorbed? How much muscle mass had she gained in such a short time?

The snap of some support beneath the platform signaled disaster. The floor suddenly tilted. At such a height, Quiet lost her balance and her body collided with the side of the cargo hold. The wall broke apart under her but the sudden shift of weight caused the entire platform to split right down the middle.

Snake jumped and grabbed onto the handrail on the stairway, his body suspended hundreds of feet above the churning ocean below. He looked up just in time to see Quiet falling backward through the air. No, not falling. Leaping. Had to be. Head pointed downward, arms spread behind her, everything seemed to slow down, even the bolts of lightning illuminating her inhumanly chiseled body and the drops of rain that showered like glass around her. She was a painting, a picture of godlike power frozen in time, hanging gracefully in thin air above her destiny. It was like he watched her life flash before his eyes.

And then she plummeted.

Her colossal body caused a deluge of water to spray into the air, but the splashing didn't stop. The waves crashed against each other and the sea boiled and foamed. Out of the dark ocean, two pale domes slowly rose. They were like the backs of giant sea turtles side by side, except they were as smooth as Quiet's soft skin. Snake's heart almost leaped out of his throat--a nipple the size of a house surged out of the water, followed by another mounted on the other dome. Quiet's tits swelled beneath him, bigger than any life rafts ever devised, already bigger than the circular platform they both stood on just a few moments ago.

Her rapidly inflating tiddies were soon followed by two other domes behind them, the top of her ass expanding so fast and huge it burst out of the water. Her ass cheeks were two humongous balloons with the rest of her trapped between her bottom and her top. But as the saltwater continued to flow into her and the rain poured down upon her skin, flooding her cells, her muscular frame began to catch up to her swollen assets.

Like a city block made of ridiculous, freakish layers of muscle, Quiet's body rose beneath Snake. She looked up at him and even from that distance, he knew she was enjoying what was happening to her, what she was becoming. The assassin, the mission support, now the weapon of mass destruction... Snake's own little boss throbbed in his pants.

Quiet's traps and back muscles overwhelmed her tiny head, with her shoulders rising like skyscrapers out of the water at either side, looking like there was a mile of ultimate power pumped up between them. Everything was getting bigger so fast that Snake's mind could hardly keep up. She bobbed in the sea as she grew until she steadied herself--Snake wondered if her feet touched the ocean floor!--and then she really began to unfold like a monolithic flower blossoming up into the heavens.

Mother Base creaked and groaned, metal colliding and crunching against the onslaught of her exploding chest. The whole infrastructure shook and seemed like it would topple. Snake watched one of Quiet's arms rise out of the water like the hull of the Titanic, her bicep like some volcanic island breaking the surface, her hand larger than it had ever been. She grabbed onto one of the main struts of the facility, the expanding musculature along her arm dwarfing her knuckles, fingers, and wrist.

"Quiet! Stop!" he screamed and thought about how Kaz had called her dangerous, a threat. She could bring the whole base down on top of her. Snake thought of all the lives of his recruits, and Kaz, Ocelot, D-Dog, everyone who called Mother Base home. His family. He had failed them.

Quiet's body continued to inflate, regaining its symmetry while exponentially increasing its mass seemingly by the second. Her pecs spread out beneath him, a craggy canyon of power. Every single striation and fiber was so well defined, it looked like she wore an ever-expanding set of full body armor. Each muscle group gorging itself on her frame as more and more power poured into her resembled a solid piece of metal, and it wasn't until she moved that the illusion gave itself up. She curled her arms into a mountainous double bicep pose, her muscles shrieking against each other like steel grinding on steel.

In the darkness of the storm, her body rose out of the water, chest-deep, waist-deep, even higher, until she was a dark silhouette against the gray horizon behind her. Quiet's face had passed Snake by as he hung there. He had watched her ascend, a look of pure bliss and ecstasy bathing her countenance. It was as if she didn't even notice him, couldn't see his perilous position.

All he could do was hang on for dear life and watch the incredible hourglass goddess grow more muscular by the second. She was soon several miles wide, her head and neck and shoulders beginning to pierce the clouds high above. Her chest thrust out like a floating island over the base. Her abs were a network of chasms and canyons that raised out of the water like an ancient pillar of the hardest stone. Even her sex passed him by, quivering with the orgasmic power that filled her to the brim. By the time her thighs appeared out of the ocean, they were so wide across that they seemed like the precipice of a shore of some undiscovered continent. There was an explosion as her thighs' mere existence crippled Mother Base.

From the heavens above, the dark clouds parted at the sound of a familiar voice. Quiet was a singing.

Despite his situation, the pain throbbing in his shoulders and the tightness in his chest, and the fact that he knew he would die soon, falling to his death at the feet of the biggest living thing on Earth, he felt at peace. Her song, like her humming in his ear on a mission, calmed him.

Then her hand appeared, palm upward, fingers opening, capable of holding an entire city, reaching out to hold him and catch his fall. Snake looked up, but couldn't hope to see her face past the millions of pounds of undulating, densely-packed muscle that bulged off every inch of her insane body. He just had to trust her.

He let go. He dropped down onto her hand.

Her other arm lowered, so far away that it was just an immense shadow stooping to the surface of the sea, and she seemed to scoop up Mother Base in one grasp. The facility whined and parts of it crumbled and detonated, but she plucked it out of the water as gently as a little girl picking daisies.

Snake turned and lay flat as Quiet's hand rose like an elevator into the sky, bringing him up through the clouds. Above them, the sun was just starting to set in the late afternoon. The rosy sunlight bathed her wet body. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.

Quiet raised her hand to the tops of her chest and slowly tilted her palm so Snake could slide off, and he ended up right beside her enormous head. The giantess looked over at him and smiled--no longer a phantom smile, but a real, warm, genuine welcome. A dreamy look had filled her eyes, each of her gorgeous irises wider around that he was tall. He returned her gaze, his eyes taking in her soft, youthful features, despite what had become of the rest of her body, settling on her plump lips. He crawled closer, stood and leaned against her chin, felt her chest heave beneath him as she sucked in a breath even as her expanding body continued to thrust them higher into the heavens... and they kissed. Her puckered mouth pushed his body back and he grabbed on, burying his face in the hot, enveloping folds of her cushioned lips.

He whispered to her, "Whatever your limits are... no matter how big you get... you'll always be here with me... I'll never let you go..." Snake turned just in time to see Mother Base, mostly intact, being set down in the gorge between her engorged pecs.

Quiet ensured the facility's struts were in place and the platforms were as steady as possible so far up above the clouds, but she and Snake could both see the soldiers scrambling out onto the walkways, waving happily and with much admiration up at the giantess. So long as she took care not to deliberately flex, the base looked like it was perfectly stable. Mother Base rested on the ultimate vantage point: the monstrous chest of the world's largest woman. No nation or terrorist group on Earth could threaten them now. She was both the biggest threat and the biggest support.

"A new Mother Base," Snake said. "Wonder what the boys at R&D will cook up next." And he sat down beside her jawline, thinking of the limitless future.
