Work in progress! Inspired by the beautiful and muscular Lee Yong Im.

The Weapon, Part One: Regime Change

The military helicopter thumped its way over the jungle canopy, skimming low over the trees as it approached the remote science facility. General Kim watched out the window as they circled over the small landing site. The facility was as hidden as it could be. Nothing was safe from the prying eyes of American and Chinese spy satellites, but this was as innocuous-looking and hidden as possible.

The helicopter was a modern Chinese design, one of the few in the country's air force. It was hard to replace the fleet of old Soviet cast-offs, with the brutal American sanctions crippling the country's economy, but they made do when they could. Maybe that would change soon, the general mused to himself. It would be nice to have more modern toys.

He smiled at the sight of his old friend General Yong arriving at the edge of the airfield to greet him with a small cadre of junior officers.

"My friend! It is good to see you again!" After a quick salute, General Kim approached and embraced the younger, lower-ranking general enthusiastically.

General Yong returned the embrace. "And you as well, General," he returned. He was surprised but pleased by the visit. Perhaps it meant the project could move forward. "Please, let's get out of this humidity and up to my office."

Once inside, Yong shut the door to give them privacy and poured two glasses of whisky. Scotch, hard to come by these days, but this was a special occasion. He handed Kim a glass and they clinked. "Salud."

The two men traded small talk for a few minutes, inquiring after each other's families and reminiscing, before discussing the real reason for General Kim's surprise visit. "Your reports on the weapon's progress have been most impressive," Kim said.

"Thank you, sir," Yong replied, pleased. Managing the top-secret project had taken up his entire life for the last few years, an all-consuming trial of setbacks and slow, incremental progress. And then, success.

"May I meet her?" Kim asked with a smile.

"Of course." Yong pushed a button on his phone. "Miss Yu, please send for Miss Liu, and a tray of refreshments."

"Right away, General," came the efficient reply.

Kim chuckled. "Still with you, after all these years? You haven't replaced her with someone younger and more...?" He made a gesture to indicate voluptuousness.

Yong shook his head. "She is loyal and efficient. I trust her."

Kim laughed. "That is the most important quality in an assistant," he agreed, though his tastes ran to pretty and more pliable young women.

Shortly after, Miss Yu brought in a cart with coffee and biscuits. A few minutes later, she opened the door again, and the weapon strided into the room, her long, powerful legs strolling purposefully, her weight causing the reinforced floor to vibrate on each footstep.

The weapon coolly surveyed the two generals and she stopped a respectful distance from them, drawing herself up to attention stiffly. "Yes, sir!" she said, her voice surprisingly soft for her size.

"At ease, soldier," General Yong said mildly, and the weapon relaxed with her long legs spread and her large hands at her side, staring straight ahead. It wasn't a formal visit so she was in her casual on-base clothes. She wore military-issue combat boots and camouflage pants that stretched tight over her large muscles. She had a camouflage tank top with a low V-neck that exposed her thick neck, broad, muscular shoulders capped by massively developed deltoid muscles, and brawny arms writhing with thick cables of powerful muscles and popping veins. The top struggled to contain her muscle bulk; the thin straps stretched tightly over her hard sloping traps, which tugged up the bottom of the tank top to reveal a tantalizing line of muscular brown flesh, the lowest row of her intimidatingly defined, solid abs. Her face was surprisingly delicate on her bulky, muscular body, with an innocent, elfin beauty to her.

"She's blonde," General Kim said in surprise.

Yong nodded. It wasn't quite a breach in protocol, but it was unexpected. "She wanted to dye her hair, and I saw no reason to forbid it."

The older general nodded, wetted his lips and smiled. "I like it." He stood up and approached the weapon.

General Kim was a large man and not used to looking up at people, but the beautiful weapon towered above him. "She's bigger in person," he commented admiringly. "She has to be over two meters tall!"

Her personnel file contained her exact height, as did reams of progress and status reports from the experiment. General Yong just nodded and commented evenly, "Two point two one meters."

General Kim's face was carefully neutral as he said, "I wouldn't have expected her to have such large breasts." His hand came up to cup her chest possessively, with no hesitation, as if she were an object he owned. The weapon stared impassively forward, her expression not reacting to his touch, though where he stroked her pectoral muscle twitched slightly. The general paused in surprise. "It's all muscle?" He stroked across the steely hard expanse of her broad chest, realizing that he had mistaken her pectorals for breasts, the blocky muscle several inches deep and so defined it formed a modest cleavage, small striations of muscle and jagged veins sweeping into the crevasse between the blocks of muscle.

"Her combat trials were most impressive," General Kim murmured in fascination as he circled the towering, statuesque physique of the weapon. Speaking about her as if she weren't right in front of him, listening to every word. "I watched the footage."

In her live combat trials, she had torn apart a tank like it was tin foil. And the "soldiers" -- court-martialed military convicts -- inside. She had been completely unbothered by the gruesomeness of the carnage she caused with her unstoppable, muscular physique, focused only on performing the tasks she'd been given. Shortly after, she had graduated to live missions, of which she had performed several quite admirably.

"As I wrote in the progress reports, she has passed every scientific milestone. Her field performance has been flawless," Yong said.

Kim turned away from the weapon, drawing himself up with a serious expression to indicate it was time to talk business. "I've read them," he said, by which he meant he'd read summaries. "She is remarkable. And completely loyal and obedient? You're sure of this?"

Yong smiled. General Kim hadn't read the meticulously filed reports, of course. He was more of a big picture person. "All of her psychological and indoctrination tests have been beyond our expectations. And, of course, just in case, there's always this." He revealed a small box in his hand. "There's a small charge of thermite in the base of her skull. If I activate this switch, or if my vital signs stop, she dies."

"Good precautions. Smart." Kim looked back at the weapon, carefully studying her unchanging expression. Satisfied, he turned back to Yong. He picked his scotch off the other general's large desk and took a sip.

Yong cleared his throat. "We are ready to continue to the next phase of production," he prompted, assuming this was the reason for General Kim's visit. "As soon as we have the proper funding and orders."

Kim's face twisted into a grimace. "I'm afraid the situation has changed. You've been following news of the election? Regime change is here." His lips twisted into a sardonic grimace. "The people have spoken, and they want President Ho."

Yong was careful, as he always was when it came to matters of politics. A farm boy growing up working the rice paddies didn't become one of the most powerful military leaders in the country without a keen sense for getting in front of the political winds. "You're supporting her," he said, careful not to let any tone that could be interpreted as disapproval into his steady voice.

Kim nodded. "I am. She wants to reconcile with the Americans. The people are tired of sanctions. And, frankly, I'm old and tired. I would rather retire to an American beach, be able to play in the sands with my grandchildren, get out of this godforsaken jungle, than be tried and executed as a war criminal." He paused, then continued with the bad news. "Unfortunately, that means following the international agreement on human rights, and the ban on genetic human experimentation."

Yong sighed. He knew this was a possibility, but to see his project get shut down like this was still hard. "I understand, old friend. We will decommission the facility."

Kim's face grew cold and deadly serious. "I'm afraid that's not enough. The Americans and the Chinese can never know what we've done here. We need complete sterilization. No witnesses."

Yong was rarely shocked, but his mouth fell open. "Surely that's not necessary!" he protested. "The staff are all patriots, under strict orders never to divulge anything they've seen here under penalty of treason."

Kim's expression was unwavering. "We can't take that chance. I'm afraid it's already been decided. All non-essential personnel will be liquidated, and all trace of this experiment will be expunged."

Yong knew that it would be foolish to protest further, lest he be deemed "non-essential." He glanced at the weapon, whose expression had not changed this entire time, but she was clearly listening closely. "And her?" he asked.

Kim looked back at the weapon admiringly. "Oh, she's much too valuable to destroy. She could be very useful. In fact, she should be the one to terminate the staff, so there are no loose ends, and we can be sure of her loyalty."

The weapon's expression was set in stone, unchanging, immovable.

Great start. Is it wrong that I'm hoping the supermuscled weapongirl will overcome her programming and escape? I mean, sure, it's problematic with the thermite charge in her head, but...
