Geraldine Morgan on top!!! Excellent result! Pls post more of her if u have.

Next year Iris won't even have to show up for the contest,
she will be sending images of herself.

Who are your least favorite winners?
Cory Everson & Lenda Murray are my choices. I never found either of them very appealing.

That's a shame, Rom! That wipes out 14 years out 0f 32 in the contests history, and 2 of the 3 most successful Ms Olympians . Lenda remains the most accomplished Ms O to date.
If Iris wins this year, she will equal Lenda in terms of wins, but she has already beaten the record of 6 straight wins in a row previously set by Cory, and then Lenda (who made a comeback of 2 more wins to set the current record of 8 Ms O wins in her career).

I am also full of apologies as Iris does nothing at all for me, but I do respect her dominance of the contest, and consistant razor sharp condition. But I doubt she has done much to assist the continuous slow death of FBB. Also Kim was not a favourite of mine, but again, she was awesome, and it is a pity she was not around to offer some competition to Iris.

Here's a list of the winners, between Rom and I we have kicked most of the history into touch!

I agree that Cory was overrated but still, she had what it took (Hercules liked her).  And as for Iris, best legs in the history of Ms Olympia, especially her calves, wall to wall!

[WHATTHE]

I've no problem with Lenda or Cory, but there were times that I would have liked to have seen Mary Roberts, Clare Furr, Ellen Van Maris,

Anja Langer, Laura Creavalle, and Denise Rutkowski win at least once--TWICE in Laura's case

Also, I'm not the greatest fan of Iris Kyle either, but I have to admire her consistently great contest preparation. The article" Going Back For Seconds at the Ms O!" http://*****/articles/bios-a-interviews/1608-going-back-for-seconds-at-the-ms-o.html by Steve Wennerstrom is a good read indeed.

Great topic, by the way...

[1hitomi]

Juliette is my all time favorite.  Stellar symetry and lush fullness when she won. If she'd been taller man would she have rocked the world.

[Goldbug]

Lenda Murray and Iris Kyle never did it for me at all. Neither did Lisa Auckland, who IIRC came very close a few times. Out of those three I admire Iris the most.

Like WHATTHE mentioned, I would also have absolutely loved it if Laura Creavalle had won the Ms O at least once. She deserved it. She was an absolute  titan of the sport.

I'm still hoping that Betty Viana will win one, but I know very little about the Ms O quallification process, so I'm not sure that she'll ever grace that stage again.

I'll fully admit that I'm biased, though. The judges don't base their selection on the same criteria that I do, obviously.

I do think that they vote for the easy and obvious option. eg If Lenda was still competing they would probably be reluctant to take away her crown and give it to Iris. Path of least resistance, yada yada yada...

And yeah, 1hitomi is right, Juliette was awesome. She wasn't ripped enough in the late '80s, but when she made her comeback carrying less water she got the title she deserved.

[goldbricker]

My fave was Kim Chizevsky.  Usually the Ms. Olympia winner does nothing for me, either.

Kim was built like a brick.
