Saiki Reika (才木玲佳) - Japanese "muscle idol"

[hendoo]

She just posted a letter on her social media saying that she's leaving bodybuilding behind to pursue acting.

A big shame, but based on the last few months worth of social media post it isn't really a surprise. Would of been nice if she had at least decided to keep the muscles though.

I have lived in Japan for over 8 years, and never realized that someone from there could be interested in bodybuilding or fitness. They seem to be so busy trying to keep up with their lives. I was in Okinawa for 6 years and then moved to Mainland Japan for another 2. Great experience. With all of that said, I was not able to never figured out what this girls has been all about because she could be an influencer of some sort; well obviously in here she is promoting fitness, but also could be someone with lots of time in her hands and just wants to be social, and I am saying this because many young girls are just plain ignored in Japan, I saw this personally. Whatever this girl is trying to be, she got me curious to follow her all along.
