I don't think so, many women do sessions. I don't think she did sessions, but just mixed wrestling videos.

There's a Premier Productions (pp 154) wrestling vid where she just throws around Suzy Hamilton like a rag doll. And Suzy Hamilton was a legit, big strong FBB herself. Yet it wasn't even close. A complete mis-match

Lifts her off the ground and pins her over and over again while Suzy literally couldn't do a thing against her.

The most telling thing occurred really early in the match. Joanne just lifts her off the ground like its nothing and then puts her down. You could clearly hear Suzy say "Jesus Christ" right after. Even Suzy couldn't believe how strong Joanne was.

To be fair, Joanne was like 200 lbs while Suzy was about 160. Still, it was hard to believe how badly a big strong FBB like Suzy just got completely humiliated. I lost track how many times Joanne pinned her. It got old after awhile. They really should've just ended the match after 10 minutes, but I guess they paid them for 45.

She would never have won. Like so many others (Sandy Riddell, Bev Francis, more) they had their picks and that was that!

It was the standard competitive woman vs. woman match that pp often produced.

I heard she was into matial arts but didn't hear of her competing in it. But she never applied it in any of her wrestling vids.  It was just brute strength, but she had lots of it.
