I was surprised to see Kim Perez in the line up.  Hadn't heard anything about her in a while and look forward most of all to seeing her.
Ms. Bleck, Alina, Cathy Le', and Nicole - but not necessarily in that order.  I wish I was attending.

Its too bad Cindy Phillips isn't on the list, think in the long run she could have been a contender.

Hell as far as that goes Britt Miller could have been in there too.

I would have loved to see those two fighting it out for first and second in a special pose down after the blind judges seeing eye dogs died from drowning from all the drool from the audience.

Sorry Maceyfan but this line of reasoning just won't hold water. The reason a fan of female bodybuilding would want to see Iris victorious is quite simple to discern: she's the best FBB in history by any objective measure. Furthermore, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and thus highly subjective but things such as symmetry and conditioning cannot be denied. The former is genetic thus baked in the cake, you either have it or you don't, whereas the latter comes as the result of iron discipline both of which Iris has in spades. You may be fatigued by the idea of the best competitor on the stage winning a given contest on a consistent basis but that's really no mark against the competitor. Iris's job is to bring her A-game to every show and she never disappoints. So yeah, I'd like to see another competitor seriously challenge her for the crown but to be the best you must beat the best.

We don't even have to see the competitors do we?  We already know who the IFBB favors so the results might as well be in already.  Iris will win with Yax and Debbie L. battling for 2nd.  I'd say then Sheila and Betty Adkins round out the top 5 - maybe Dayana.  I think Alina without a doubt has a top 5 physique but I am not sure she is in with the judges.

I would just love a full blown upset, and see Heather Foster win! It won't happen, but to see this forum in melt down would be fun, and Heather is a legend, my opinion! I just think she deserves to do well, a moment of recognition, as she is a great person and has been around a while.

This type of question,always leads to the same debate.Who we think will win & who would like to see triumph,who is muscular,but still feminine & who looks like a guy without a You are not allowed to view links. Alina clearly has Iris beat in the legs department and they are about equal in abs and chest with Alina having slightly better lats. But Iris does have better arms. Of course Alina actually has hips and is more beautiful facially, but that really is not a bb criteria (as long as the face does not show extreme signs of substance abuse).
Iris eternal winning streak is bad for the sport however and I really hope Alina wins this time

You make some good points but you didn't mention what puts Iris over the top. Like Dorian Yates in the 1990's men's sport, it's all about the back. Her's is in a league of its own. The traps, lats, rear delts, glutes, hammies and calves all when viewed from the back are off the charts! Top to bottom she has by far the best back side in the women's sport

Wishful thinking about Cindy -- as beautiful as she is, she is way WAY too short to ever win the Ms O, and you name me ONE MS O who was that petite (Juliette
Bergman wasnt tall but she a heck of a lot taller than Cindy). To drive home the point, I saw Cindy at the Canadian Nationals some years ago
and she was TINY. In fact, she was dwarfed on stage by Nicole Ball, who is a pretty short woman herself!

Britt Miller who knows she would have to put on a ton more muscle but at least you could envision her as having a shot unlike Cindy.

I think a wildcard who hasnt been mentioned is Tina Chandler. She really has everything going for -- great looks, lots of muscle, beautiful proportions,
relatively young. The only thing she lacks is a track record -- she hasnt won any major professional shows (although she actually has deserved to win one or two).
Sarah Hayes is another one to look out for at some point.

1. Nicole Ball: because she is my bodybuilding wet dream
2. Kim Perez: she is also my dreamgirl...from the waist up.
                      Her legs need work.
3. Debi Lasewski: used to be my dreamgirl...still is...sorta...
                             getting a little long in the tooth
4. Alina Popa: hottest name in the sport right now
5. Iris Kyle: how the mighty have fallen

Actual top five:
1. Iris Kyle: same old same old
2. Yaxeni Oriquen: same old same old
3. Alina Popa: should place higher but she wont because
                       the judges are indecisive cowards
4. Brigita Brezovac: one of the hottest athletes in the sport
                       right now
5. Cathy LeFrancois: biggest name remaining after the top four,
                       and we all know bodybuilding is about name and reputation
                       rather than the actual physique that you present.
