I'll post a full story, divided into 4 chapters. Hope you enjoy. I also have a prequel written that shows the main female character growth from a physical and emotional point of view, and am currently working on a sequel, that will be written from the male character's perspective. Feedbacks are appreciated

Chapter 1 - And The Garage Door Opens

Tom Bennett had barely thrown his duffel bag inside the front door before he collapsed face-first onto his old bed the night before. After cramming through finals and making the long drive back from college, the only thing on his agenda was unconsciousness. No alarms. No responsibilities. Just two weeks of quiet before his internship kicked off.

At least, that was the plan.

So when heavy bass thundered through his window at barely 8 a.m., the universe felt personal. He groaned, the kind of full-body groan that started in his spine and leaked out in a sigh of defeat. A pulsing beat rolled through the early morning air like a concert in the driveway. He blinked at the clock. 7:52.

"Are you serious right now?"

Still wearing boxers, he fumbled around for a T-shirt, pulled it halfway over his messy hair, and shoved his feet into the nearest flip-flops. With the grace of a zombie and the rage of a sleep-deprived college student, he shuffled outside, squinting against the morning sun.

He expected the Johnsons' teenager or maybe one of the neighborhood dads having a midlife-crisis workout.

What he didn't expect was the Daltons' garage door wide open, music spilling out. Tom froze on the curb. That house hadn't changed much — same white trim, same flower bed half-dead from too much sun. But he was almost certain they'd moved, or at least rented it out. He hadn't spoken to the Daltons since before he left for college. He approached the open garage cautiously, eyes adjusting to the light inside.

The first thing he noticed wasn't the music.

It was the movement.

In the center of the garage, gripping a ceiling-mounted pull-up bar with chalk-dusted hands, a woman moved with smooth, devastating rhythm. Her back was to him — broad, muscular, and completely unfamiliar.

Her back was to him, glistening with sweat under the early sun. Wide lats flared like wings with each ascent. Her shoulders were bouldered, delts carved and tight. Muscles rippled across her back and arms with a level of definition that was... shocking. She wasn't just fit — she looked engineered for strength.

She wore black gym shorts, hugging thick, sculpted thighs. Her upper body was clad in a white sports bra with black lining — it clung to her physique as if stretched to its limit. Her long red ponytail swayed gently with her reps, but strands of hair had loosened and stuck to the sides of her face with sweat.

Pull-up fourteen. Fifteen. Sixteen. No signs of slowing.

Tom stood frozen. His jaw slightly parted, eyes wide, mind struggling to compute what he was seeing. The muscles, the size, the discipline — it all radiated from her. And then, after what appeared to be the twentieth rep, she dropped.

Lightly landing on her feet with practiced ease, she exhaled hard — and that's when she turned around.

Her breathing was fast, chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm that made her abdominal wall ripple like a washboard. Eight distinct ridges. Clear obliques. A defined serratus framing the top of her abs just under her sports bra. Her skin glistened with sweat, amplifying every curve and shadow of her torso. But it was the face that froze him.

Blue eyes. Sharp cheekbones. Freckles.

It was her. Mel Dalton.

She blinked. "Tom?"

His mind short-circuited.

"...Mel?"

Gone was the lanky redheaded girl who used to ride her bike down the street trying to race him to the ice cream truck. In her place stood a powerhouse. Muscles where he never expected to see them — full, functional, unapologetically big. But her smile... that smile was still there. Crooked, slightly mischievous.

Silence stretched for a moment before she cracked a half-smile, her cheeks flushed — maybe from the workout, maybe from something else.

"Shit," she said with a breathy chuckle, brushing some hair from her forehead. "Sorry. Did I wake you up with the music?"

Tom opened his mouth, then hesitated.

"No — no, I just... I saw the garage open and figured I'd say hi," he lied awkwardly.

Mel tilted her head, arms coming to rest on her hips — a motion that made her biceps swell slightly and forced her lats to push her arms out naturally. The stance radiated strength and casual dominance.

Tom tried not to stare. Failed.

"You're staring," she said, amused. Not defensive — amused.

"I mean... sorry. It's just... wow. You look... I mean—"

"Different?"

He chuckled nervously. "Yeah. Like you could bench press me."

She laughed — a warm, throaty sound. "I probably could."

Tom suddenly felt self-conscious in his baggy T-shirt and flip-flops. He glanced at his reflection in the car window — messy hair, tired eyes, lanky frame. Meanwhile, Mel looked like she'd been carved from ambition and protein powder.

But then she stepped closer, and something in her eyes softened.

"You're taller than I remember," she said.

He blinked. "Really?"

"And skinnier," she added, teasing. "But the hair's the same. Kind of a mess." He laughed, the tension breaking like glass.

They stood a few feet apart now, and for a second, it was just them — a boy who had been away for too long, and a girl who had become a force of nature in his absence.

"So," he said, trying to seem casual, "you've clearly been working out."

"Only for the last four years," she teased.

"Right... that'll do it."

Her breathing had slowed, but her abs still looked chiseled, her skin glowing with effort and sunlight. Tom was still reeling from the sheer presence she had. He remembered Mel — the sweet, spunky girl who followed him around as a kid. This wasn't her. This was... Mel 2.0, and he wasn't sure whether he was intimidated or fascinated. Probably both.

"Well," she said, picking up her water bottle. "Welcome back, neighbor."

"Thanks. It's... good to be back."

Their eyes met again — something unspoken hung in the air. A flicker. A question neither dared to voice yet.

"See you around?" she offered, casually, but not carelessly.

"Yeah. Definitely," he replied, with more certainty than he expected.

She turned back toward her gym setup, and he walked back across the lawn — slower this time, heartbeat louder than it should've been.

He hadn't expected much from coming home.

But now, he couldn't stop thinking about Mel Dalton.

And she, from the corner of her eye, watched him go — smiling quietly to herself.

Chapter 2 - Scaries and Shakes

Tom lay sprawled across his bed in nothing but a pair of loose boxers, the glow from his laptop screen casting pale blue shadows across his chest. His body was, well... average. Not out of shape, just unremarkable — lean, with faint outlines of muscle around his shoulders and chest from the occasional run, but no real definition. He'd never really cared about that.

But tonight, for the first time, he did.

His eyes were locked on the ceiling, but his mind was racing somewhere else — across the lawn, to the garage next door. To her. Mel Dalton.

She had been a meteor crashing into his quiet orbit, all strength and sweat and unshakable presence. It had been hours since he left the garage, and he hadn't stopped thinking about her for more than a few minutes at a time.

His phone rested on his stomach, screen dark. He picked it up for the tenth time in five minutes, unlocked it, opened his social apps... and hesitated.

Would it be weird to message her the same day?

He sighed, opened the search bar, and typed: Melanie Dalton.

Her profile picture popped up — an old one, maybe a year ago. Her smile was the same, hair in a ponytail, wearing a hoodie that completely masked the powerhouse beneath. He scrolled.

Not a single photo of her flexing. Not even a bikini pic.

A few mirror selfies, mostly full-body in oversized shirts or workout gear. One or two from the gym, but always from a distance. A picture of a smoothie. One captioned "post-leg day death." That was it.

Subtle. Reserved. Private. It surprised him.

He found himself smiling, thumb hovering. And then —

"Hey. Was great seeing you today. Still trying to wrap my head around how badass you looked."

He hesitated. Backspaced "badass." Typed "strong." No — "amazing." No, that sounded like a wedding toast.

After a few edits, he finally hit send.

Across the street, Mel lay in her bed on her stomach, feet swaying lazily in the air behind her. Her room was cozy, decorated with calm pastels and string lights, soft and strong at once — just like her.

Above her dresser hung a large poster of Dana Linn Bailey, arms outstretched, veins pumping, a quote underneath: "Strong is not a size. It's a mindset."

Her pajamas were white, cotton-soft, and clearly too small — not that she minded. The sleeveless top clung to her broad shoulders and full chest, riding just slightly up over her lower back every time she shifted. Her lats flared gently even when relaxed, making the top stretch tight across her upper back. The short shorts, once baggy when she was younger, now hugged every contour of her glutes and thick, muscular thighs — each quad a landscape of gentle ridges, visible even without tension. Her calves, partially visible under the blanket, curved with natural definition from years of explosive leg work. Lying belly-down didn't hide anything — the mass and density she'd earned over four years of lifting was part of her now, present even in stillness.

Her phone buzzed next to her pillow, and she flipped it over.

Tom Bennett.

She propped herself up, heart skipping half a beat. She hadn't stopped thinking about him either — the way he looked at her, like he wasn't scared or weirded out. Just... interested. Really interested.

She tapped the screen and read.

"Hey. Was great seeing you today. Still trying to wrap my head around how strong you looked."

She smiled to herself, cheeks slightly flushed.

She typed back quickly.

"Glad I didn't scare you off 😉. You looked good too. Kind of shocked to see you back."

The reply came within seconds.

"Back for two weeks. Internship starts after that. Thought I'd get some rest, but your music had other plans 😂."

She bit her lip, smiling wider now.

"Hey — you could've joined the workout. I'd go easy on you."

"Somehow I don't believe that."

Then, a pause. She stared at the blinking cursor, finger hovering.

What the hell.

"Wanna catch a movie tomorrow night?"

✦ The next evening, Tom stood outside the movie theater, nervously scrolling through his phone. He wore khaki trousers and a dark blue polo — they made his shoulders look slightly broader and his sneakers were almost new.. He hadn't dated much, and this didn't feel like any date he'd ever imagined.

Then he looked up. And almost dropped his phone.

Mel was walking toward him with soft curls falling over her shoulders, her red hair loose for the first time he could remember. A light touch of makeup softened her already striking features, bringing out her blue eyes like a burst of summer sky.

She wore a dark sundress that hugged her waist and torso, the fabric cinched around her abs and tapering down over her hips. It flared slightly at the legs, giving movement to her powerful thighs as she walked.

She's trying to hide it, he thought, noticing how the three-quarter sleeves of her dress covered her upper arms — but it didn't matter. The forearms alone gave her away, thick and sinewy, vascular even in the soft light. The way the dress hugged her waist and ribcage, then flowed gently around her legs, only emphasized the mass beneath.

She looked like she had dressed to be subtle... but it was impossible. And kind of adorable, actually — like she wasn't sure how to not stand out anymore.

Her calves flexed with each step, enhanced by two-inch heeled sandals that added elegance to every stride.

She was radiant.

"Wow," Tom blurted before he could stop himself.

Mel smiled, cheeks turning red. "That good?"

"You look... incredible," he said, almost breathless. "Seriously."

"Thanks," she said, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "I wasn't sure if this dress still fit right."

He wanted to tell her that it fit perfectly, but all he could do was nod like an idiot. They exchanged a few more awkward, sweet pleasantries, then made their way inside.

The theater was dark and cold, the previews already rolling as they took their seats. Tom didn't even care what movie they'd picked. It was some horror flick Mel had suggested — something with ghosts and shadows and cheap jump scares.

He could barely focus. She was sitting right next to him, her presence electric even in the dim light. The way her thighs brushed against his. The faint scent of her shampoo. The warmth of her body close to his.

Halfway through the movie, during a particularly loud scare, she let out a small gasp and instinctively grabbed his arm, locking hers around his and squeezing lightly.

Tom tensed for a second — then relaxed.

Her arm was solid, warm, wrapped firmly around his.

He was all too aware of how his bicep wasn't nearly the size of hers.

But she didn't care.

Neither did he.

His hand slid slowly to her forearm — resting there at first. Then, without thinking, he started tracing gentle circles with his thumb, gliding over the ridges of muscle, the tension beneath the skin. It was a completely unconscious gesture.

But Mel noticed.

She felt her breath catch. She turned slightly, eyes darting to where his hand met her skin — then back to the screen.

And then, just for fun, she gave the tiniest flex.

To her surprise, he didn't flinch. He didn't pull away.

If anything, his touch became softer. More curious. Almost admiring.

Her heart melted.

Maybe he really didn't mind. Maybe he liked her exactly the way she was.

After the movie, they walked down the street to a retro milkshake shop — all chrome, red leather booths, and neon lights. She led the way, pulling the door open with casual ease that made her triceps twitch under her sleeve.

They sat across from each other in a booth.

"I haven't been here in years," Tom said, scanning the menu.

"They've got protein shakes now," Mel said. "Makes it easier to pretend I'm being responsible."

He grinned. "So what do bodybuilders drink after a horror movie?"

"Banana-chocolate-whey with almond butter," she replied without missing a beat. "And a cherry on top, because I'm not a monster."

He laughed.

"So," she said, propping her chin on her hand, "college guy. What's next?"

"Internship in Boston," he said. "Cybersecurity. Starts in two weeks."

"That sounds fancy."

"It sounds like 'sit in front of a screen and hope nothing explodes.'"

She laughed, eyes twinkling. "I've already gotten a few acceptance letters."

"Yeah?"

"Waiting on one more."

Tom raised an eyebrow. "Which one?"

She stirred her shake. "Yours."

He blinked. "Seriously?"

Mel nodded. "I visited the campus two summers ago. Loved it. Kept it to myself. I figured I'd apply and see what happens."

"That's... wow. That'd be awesome."

Their shakes arrived, and they fell into easy conversation. About high school. About how they used to play video games on Tom's porch when they were kids. About how they drifted apart.

"Honestly," Mel said, stirring her shake, "I always thought you were cool. Smart. Funny. You never acted like the other boys."

Tom raised an eyebrow. "That's either a compliment or a burn."

"It's a compliment," she said with a smile. Then, after a beat: "I had a crush on you, freshman year."

He blinked. "You did?"

She nodded. "You probably don't remember, but I used to ride past your house like, five times a day."

He laughed. "I thought that was just your workout."

"Boys. That was me being subtle."

He looked at her — really looked at her — and saw the girl beneath the muscle, the friend he never really knew, the one who'd been right there all along.

"Well," he said, "guess I was the oblivious one."

She sipped her shake. "Maybe not anymore."

Chapter 3 - Just for Show?

The texts had flowed nonstop since the movie. Jokes, playlists, memes, random thoughts about the horror flick they'd seen. Neither one of them said it out loud, but the current between their messages was charged with something new. Something neither of them wanted to break.

So when Mel invited Tom to work out, it wasn't exactly casual — even if she played it off that way.

"You sure you're ready for that?"

"Define ready."

"Willing to be humbled in my garage?"

"Bring it on."

They scheduled it for a late afternoon during the week. Tom took extra care choosing what to wear, which wasn't something he usually did for the gym — or ever. He landed on black workout shorts and a loose, gray sleeveless T-shirt with his college logo on the front. Nothing special, but clean. Light. And hopefully forgiving.

Tom arrived just as the sun started to dip, casting long shadows across the neighborhood. He was nervous. More than he expected. His arms weren't exactly impressive, but they weren't embarrassing either. He had that thin-runner tone — long limbs, light definition, not much bulk.

His palms were already sweating as he crossed the driveway. The garage door was open, and there she was.

Mel.

She stood adjusting a barbell rack, back turned to him, dressed in a royal blue tank top and matching gym shorts that left no ambiguity about the power packed into her frame. Her tank hugged the width of her upper body — the deep ridge of her lats and the taper into her tight waist gave her that unmistakable V-shape. Her arms were thick and smooth with muscle, every contour visible beneath the fabric. Her shorts clung to her quads like shrink-wrap, every step she took causing the muscles to ripple beneath her skin. When she turned and saw him, she smiled, and for a second, all the nerves in his stomach twisted.

"Hey," she said, tucking a strand of red hair behind her ear. It was pulled into a ponytail, bouncing softly behind her head. "You showed."

"You thought I'd bail?" he asked, trying to sound cooler than he felt.

"A little," she grinned. "But I'm glad you didn't."

Their eyes lingered just a beat too long before she clapped her hands. "So," she said, "ready to get humbled?"

He laughed nervously. "Lead the way."

Inside the garage, everything was meticulously arranged: racks, dumbbells, bumper plates, chalk bucket, even a fan mounted high in the corner. It was clearly her sanctuary.

"We'll do a basic chest day," she said. "Nothing crazy. Bench, incline press, some flyes if you're still breathing after that."

"I make no promises."

Mel loaded the bar for him on the bench press, setting it up with what she thought would be a manageable weight. Tom lay down, adjusted his grip, and unracked it.

The first few reps went okay. But by rep five, his arms started to tremble. On rep six, he almost dropped it.

"Okay, okay," she said, jumping in to spot and re-rack. "Let's bring it down a notch."

He sat up, wiping his brow. "I swear I used to be stronger than this."

"You're fine," she said, genuinely. "You haven't trained for this. It's like trying to speak French after one Duolingo lesson."

He chuckled, appreciating the metaphor.

As she adjusted the weights, she stole a glance at him — the way he accepted help without pride, how he laughed at himself without insecurity. It was adorable. She liked that he didn't try to impress her.

She liked that she could teach him something.

She liked... him.

She stepped back and watched as he pushed through the next set. It was better — shaky by the end, but he made it. She noticed how hard he tried. How little ego he had.

"You're doing fine," she said, handing him a water bottle. "I've seen grown men cry after one set."

He grinned, wiping his forehead. "And you're just here watching? No workout for you?"

She shook her head. "I already trained earlier. This is your session."

He raised an eyebrow. "You sure? Kinda feels like I'm getting personal coaching from an Olympian."

She smirked. "If you want, I'll do a little demo after we're done. Just to show off."

"I definitely want that."

Mel walked him through a small chest workout — bench press, dumbbell presses, incline push-ups. She corrected his form gently. Encouraged him. And more than once, he caught himself watching the way her muscles moved under her skin as she demonstrated each motion — the way her pecs shifted, the tension in her shoulders, the ripple of her triceps during the lockout.

When he finally dropped down onto the mat after the last set of push-ups, arms shaking, he looked up at her.

"Alright," he said between breaths. "Your turn."

Mel smirked. "You sure?"

He nodded, sitting up to watch. "Hit me."

She walked over to the bench press, cracking her knuckles. Without hesitation, she loaded the bar with a weight that made Tom's eyes go wide: a 45-pound plate, then a 35 and a 10 on each side — 165 pounds total.

"You're joking," he said.

She didn't respond. Just lay down on the bench, planted her feet, set her grip... and pressed.

One rep. Clean. Controlled. Two. Three. Four. She stopped at six, sat up without a sound, barely winded.

Tom stared.

"That's... that's more than twice what I lifted," he said.

"Two and a half, actually," she said, winking. "I didn't max out. Just enough for effect."

He blinked. "What's your actual max?"

"Bench? 225 on a good day."

He whistled. "That's insane. That's like... linebacker strength."

She shrugged modestly. "I'm proud of it."

"You should be. That was... honestly, that was amazing."

She met his eyes. Her lips parted slightly — she hadn't expected such a sincere compliment. And the way he said it, like it wasn't weird or threatening — just pure admiration? Her heart fluttered.

"Okay, now we're done," he said, collapsing again.

"Nope," she replied, tossing him a mat. "Abs. You don't get to skip core."

He raised an eyebrow. "Only if you do it with me."

She narrowed her eyes. "You're on."

They dropped side by side onto the mats and began crunches, pushing through rep after rep in sync.

Twenty. Thirty. Forty.

They began sweating. Mel's breathing quickened. Her abs tightened with every rep — cords of muscle rolling with fluid precision. Tom tried not to stare. Failed.

"Fifty," she said, panting.

He groaned. "Fine. You win."

They both flopped back on the mat, laughing.

She sat up first, reaching for her ponytail band, which had loosened.

As she tied her hair back, her biceps bulged, stretching and flexing with every twist and pull of the band.

Tom was mesmerized.

"Caught you staring again," she said playfully.

"Caught me? You set me up."

She smirked. "What? These things?" she said, flexing both arms now, showing off her solid, full biceps — round and split, with veins lightly visible.

"They're impressive, but I bet those are just for show."

Mel raised an eyebrow. "Oh yeah?"

"Yeah," he said, playful. "I mean... they look strong, but how do I know they are?"

She laughed. "You calling me out?"

"I think I am."

She stood and motioned to the bench.

"Okay, tough guy. Let's test that."

She motioned for him to kneel across from her at the end of the bench. He followed, heart racing.

They clasped hands — hers larger, warmer, calloused.

"Ready?" she asked, cocking an eyebrow.

"No," he said honestly.

"Three... two... one..."

He pushed. Hard. Her arm didn't move. She tilted her head, eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Are you... trying?"

"Very much."

She slowly began to move his hand down, smooth and deliberate, until his knuckles touched the bench.

"Point made," he said, laughing.

"Best two out of three?"

He grinned. "Only if I get to use both hands."

She agreed. They reset. He locked both hands around hers this time.

"Three... two... one..."

He pushed with everything he had.

Same result.

His hands slammed into the bench a second time.

He dropped his head against it, chuckling. "That's honestly impressive. Like... really impressive."

Mel smiled, a little flushed — but not from exertion.

"Thanks," she said. "Not everyone says that. Some get... weird about it."

Tom sat back on his heels. "I'm not weird. I mean, yeah — you're stronger than me. So what? That's part of who you are. And you're..."

He paused, eyes trailing up her arms, her shoulders, the way her tank top stuck to her chest with sweat.

"...kind of incredible."

Mel looked at him for a long moment, then dropped her gaze, trying not to smile too wide.

"Thanks," she said again, quieter this time.

And in that moment, kneeling there, breathless and flushed and close enough to hear each other's heartbeats, they weren't two people testing strength anymore.

They were something else entirely. Something just beginning.

Chapter 4 - Show Me

They planned it all week. Saturday night. Mel's parents would be out. No curfews, no distractions. Just the two of them — takeout, movies, maybe something more. Neither said it, but both felt it. That slow-building electricity between them had reached a quiet boil.

Tom dressed like it mattered — dark jeans, white button-down shirt, hair freshly combed. He even wore cologne, though he immediately questioned whether that was overkill.

He rang the bell. No answer. He waited. Rang again. Still nothing.

For a split second, doubt whispered. Did she forget? Did she change her mind?

Then he noticed a soft, pulsing light coming from the side of the house.

The garage.

Faint music. Something heavier than usual.

And... breathing. Grunts. Sharp exhales.

He walked quietly across the driveway and knocked gently on the side door. No response. Worried now, he pushed it open.

The air inside hit him like a wall — hot, humid, electric with tension. A barbell clanged back into place on a rack, echoing across the concrete. And there she was.

Mel.

In the middle of the gym, dripping with sweat, muscles pumped, skin flushed, face red... and eyes wet. She was crying.

She wore black gym shorts, a pink sports bra, and over it, one of those deep-cut black tank tops — the kind male bodybuilders wore when they weren't allowed to train shirtless. But this one did nothing to hide her. Her delts, lats, and upper chest spilled out of every gap. The tank clung to her back, soaked through. Her red ponytail stuck to her neck, sweat rolling down her cheeks — not just from exertion.

Tom stood frozen. "Mel?"

She looked up sharply, startled — like she forgot he existed. Then the color drained from her face.

"Oh my God," she muttered. "I forgot."

Tom stepped forward, cautiously. "What's going on?"

"I—" she wiped her face with her forearm, which only emphasized the size of it. "I'm sorry. I lost track of time. I wasn't... I didn't mean to—"

He held up a hand. "It's okay. Just... talk to me."

Mel looked away, shame in her posture. "I went out earlier. Tried to find something to wear tonight. Something nice."

Tom nodded, waiting.

"I went into this boutique. Just wanted a dress that fit. But the way people looked at me... the things they whispered..." Her voice cracked. "Someone said I looked like a beast."

Tom's eyes softened. "Mel..."

"I didn't know what else to do. I panicked. Came home. Went straight into a full-body set. I just— I had to move. Had to lift. It's the only thing that keeps me from falling apart sometimes."

She finally looked at him. "And then I forgot. I forgot you. And I'm sorry."

He took another step toward her.

"They called you a beast?" he asked, voice low.

She nodded, tears welling again. "Like I was something freakish. Too much. Too big. Like I ruined myself."

Tom looked at her, breathing steady.

Then, he whispered: "Show me."

Mel froze.

"What?"

"Show me," he repeated, softer this time. "If they called you a beast... show me."

Something flickered in her eyes.

She took a slow step back.

Then, without breaking eye contact, she hooked her thumbs into the base of her tank top... and pulled it down and out, exposing more of her flared lats, and planted her feet. With one breath, she spread her arms wide — elbows pulled forward, wrists tight — and expanded her back into a front lat spread.

Tom's jaw slackened.

Her torso exploded outward — like wings unfolding. Her shoulders widened. Her chest lifted. Her waist looked half the width of her upper body. Every muscle was defined, symmetrical, swollen from the brutal session she'd just finished. Her arms pushed outward from her body naturally, forced apart by the sheer volume of her back.

She held the pose.

Waiting. Expecting fear. Rejection.

But Tom... He stepped forward. Eyes locked.

And said: "More."

That single word — more — hit her like lightning.

For the first time in hours, she felt something stronger than shame.

Power.

Her face twisted — not in sadness, but something deeper. A blend of rage, relief, and adrenaline.

Without another word, she reached up, grabbed the collar of the tank top, and ripped it in half, the seams screaming before giving way.

The shirt hit the floor.

And Mel posed.

Starting with her quads — turning slightly, planting one leg, flexing until the feathered striations in her thigh danced under the garage lights. Her glutes tightened, hamstrings separated. She rotated again, abs now facing forward, and raised her arms to a double-overhead crunch.

Her abs popped, carved like granite. Deep lines. Razor-edged obliques. Sweat ran in streams down each groove.

Tom gasped — audibly. Mel saw it. She felt it.

She walked forward, chest rising with each breath, and gently took his wrist, guiding it to her stomach.

"Feel," she whispered. He obeyed.

His fingers slid across the ridges of her flexed abdomen, tracing each groove, feeling the heat, the density. She held her breath, controlling the contraction for him. Then, slowly, she stepped back and began flexing her chest — the fibers of her pecs shifting under her sports bra, striations visible near the collarbone. Then came her delts, bouldered and split, then finally—

Her biceps.

She curled both arms, slow and deliberate.

The peaks rose high, full and veined, the split head of each muscle prominent and tight.

Tom didn't wait for an invitation. He stepped in, reached up, and placed his hands around her biceps, fingers pressing in gently.

They didn't give. They were solid, warm, alive. He kept holding them. Rubbing lightly. Admiring. Mel felt her chest tighten — not from flexing, but from emotion.

He wasn't afraid. He wasn't confused. He adored her. This — this was what she needed.

She stepped back again, dropped her arms to her sides, then suddenly snapped into a full crab pose — the most muscular.

Her traps lifted, pecs swelled, veins popped across her chest, shoulders, and arms. Her neck thickened, her arms ballooned, and her entire upper body took on the look of something almost unreal. She didn't look like a beast.

She looked like a goddess in warpaint.

Tom couldn't hold back.

He stepped forward, fast — grabbed her face, and kissed her with everything he had. She kissed back. Hungrily. Sweat and salt and heat. Their lips crushed. His hands wrapped around her back — he could feel every muscle moving beneath the skin.

Then, without warning, her hands dropped behind his legs, and she lifted him — effortlessly.

Tom gasped into her mouth, legs instinctively wrapping around her waist.

She held him like it was nothing — like he was weightless — and turned, walking toward the inside of the house, their bodies never breaking contact.

His arms clung to her shoulders. Her breath was ragged. Mel carried him effortlessly through the hallway, his legs wrapped around her waist, his arms hooked around her shoulders. Her skin was still warm and slick from the workout, her breath ragged but steady. He could feel the power in her body with every step — the way her core shifted, the subtle twitch of her arms holding him up like he weighed nothing.

They reached her room.

She kicked the door shut and laid him gently on her bed — not like porcelain, but like something precious.

Tom looked up at her, hair slightly damp, shirt unbuttoned now. He'd never seen anyone like her. Not just in shape — in energy. In how she moved, how she carried herself. She wasn't just strong. She was majestic.

She climbed onto the bed slowly, hovering over him. Her thighs straddled his hips, and her hands braced on either side of his shoulders. Her sports bra clung to her chest, damp and stretched from the poses. Her arms, even relaxed, still held that coiled power — dense, wide, glowing with life.

Tom reached up and ran his fingers along her arms again, whispering, "How big are they?"

She smiled. "Sixteen and a half inches. Last time I measured."

His hands paused, eyes widening.

"Sixteen and a half ..." he echoed, reverently. "That's bigger than mine. Way bigger."

She laughed softly. "I know."

He reached up and cupped her biceps again, as if committing them to memory.

"They're perfect," he murmured. "You're perfect."

Mel leaned down and kissed him. Slower now. Sweeter. The kind of kiss that sank into the soul. Her lips moved to his neck, then to his chest as she began unbuttoning his shirt fully, revealing his thin frame beneath. He looked up, slightly shy.

"I'm not much to look at."

She shook her head. "You're exactly what I want."

She kissed down his body, and he reached up, guiding her to lie beside him.

Then it was his turn.

Tom took his time — running his fingers along her abs, her shoulders, her chest. He kissed each part gently, like worship. His hands moved with care, tracing the outline of her form — letting her know not just that he accepted her... but that he craved her.

Mel arched slightly at his touch, soft sounds escaping her lips as he explored her. When his lips reached her stomach again, he kissed each ridge of her abs, pausing between every groove.

"You're not a beast," he whispered. "You're art."

That made her eyes water again — but not from pain.

She pulled him closer, guiding his hands to her body, guiding his mouth to where she needed it most.

They undressed each other slowly, fully, without hesitation. Every movement was deliberate — driven not by urgency but by connection. His hands gripped her waist, her back, her thighs. Hers cupped his face, held his shoulders, wrapped around him like she never wanted to let go.

When they finally joined, it was deep. Warm. Overwhelming.

She was strong, yes — but she was tender, too. Responsive. And when she moved, he let himself be moved with her, surrendering to her rhythm, her power, her lead.

But it wasn't one-sided.

Because even as she rode him with her strength, he held her like a treasure. He kissed her collarbone, whispered her name, and looked her in the eyes through every pulse and gasp and breath.

Their bodies moved in unison. Sweat mingled. Hands clenched. Moans filled the quiet room. When they reached the edge, they reached it together — a long, trembling crescendo that left them shaking in each other's arms.

Afterward, she collapsed beside him, chest heaving.

He rolled to face her, brushing a lock of damp red hair from her forehead.

Mel looked at him. Raw. Open. Real.

"You didn't pull away," she whispered.

Tom smiled, eyes soft. "Why would I ever want to?"

She kissed him again. Slower. Grateful.

And for the first time in a long time, Mel felt safe.

Not hidden. Not doubted. Wanted.

Exactly as she was.

Also, I tried to use AI to generate some key images to this story, but I am not completely satisfied with the results. I ended up blocked by policy. If you guys want to give it a try, please do, and share the results

Disappointing. Didn't think you'd be one to use AI like this.

Perhaps you've misinterpreted me. I tried to use AI to generate actual images - pictures. Some of them I nailed (the scene where Mel is on her bed texting with Tom, or the one where she ties up her pony tail, but most of them end up blocked.)

Although I will be honest: I have been using AI over the last year, submitting drafts to it, with two intentions: grammar check/enhancing vocabulary (english is not my mother language and as you can tell I can become repetitive in the adjectives), and feasibility (in this story arc it will be evident in the prequel, where I want Mel to grow from a regular teen into what you see in this story in a humanly acceptable fashion. It bothered me that some of my other stories the proportions might have been off, or growth rate was unachiavable)

Pics would be great, imagination took me there anyway. Great story and character

Disappointing is the opposite of how I would describe that story, that was terrific! Looking forward to the next chapters!

The king is back :)
I always loved your stories and this one is wonderful!
Thank you.

It's really well done - and AI is useful as a tool - for first drafts - or as you used it - for editing/grammar checking, etc.

Looking forward  to the prequel - wanting to see how Mel built herself - and how much of any taboo topics you hit on with it - Golden Age remains my favorite work of yours - for the and realism of steroid use and how it was handled in that story.   Hoping for something similar here.

:bravo:

It's amazing to see you back, man. Your storytelling style, and the way you sometimes describe how your characters feel when they interact, is so beautiful. And  This is a fantastic story. By the way, when you're inexperienced and don't know how to describe something, or to fix grammatical errors, I think AI can already be used. This is no wrong. It'll even improve your writing style. So don't worry about that. Keep writing. Great work!

By the way, clear figures are forming in my mind, but I've always wondered how others portray your characters? Has anyone ever made art out of some of your characters? like a drawing, visual, art?

Great story.  If you're using AI to assist along the way, I'm all for it.  Otherwise, AI ain't this creative.
