Best advise I can give is to act like you have actually been in the presence of a lady. Not a knock on you. I say this because I'm thinking many on this board have not.

I have known her for years, but this advise goes for anyone with whom you meet for a session.

First, be clean, and I mean c-l-e-a-n. Be prompt, be polite, be a gentleman. Be respectful. Let her take the lead.

Don't ask others here for "details" about their session (I could go on and on about this...) Each situation is unique. If you act like a decent human being, you'll be glad you did.

So how is she in person?  Does she take charge and I just follow along?

Besides the obvious of being clean, do not haggle, be respectful, make sure to have a clear expectation in your head as to what you want from the session and make sure you're not afraid to communicate and ask and allow her to decide what she is comfortable with. Sometimes people don't do this before the session but I would recommend that you do communicate everything before you meet.  At the end of the day it's a service and you're paying for it so make sure you get out of it what you were expecting and that she understands and agrees to it.

I agree and this is just a general rule of mine, I always asked to see if they need anything even if it's something as simple as picking up their Starbucks order. That little bit of going the extra mile can be repaid big time. And food! Offer to bring a nice dinner to them and it can repay off. One session completely changed when I offer to get them a steak dinner from the place across the street. A one hour session that was okay but not great suddenly became a multi hour fabulous time!

Actually I done that on many occasions (bought dinner) for a sessioniate though check your DM in a bit for details on the one I reference for a steak dinner.

Let her take the lead when you're new at this, especially for someone who has done as many sessions as MM has, is correct. Definitely stick to doing things she tells you herself that she enjoys, that's the straightest path to the session going well.

Totally agree and that goes for any session, not just a first. I have sessioniates was with/been with for years and always asked for permission to touch or really do anything though once you get into a routine with them, they tell you to do it when they are ready knowing it's part of the standard menu you ordered.
