After walking five blocks one way, then taking a left for another four, followed by taking a right for another five, Cassie's feet were aching. Her favorite leggings and shoes ruined in the journey into town, and now she was feeling physically exhausted. It was enough to bring the whiny nature of anyone out, let alone the mousey college girl.

"Massiva, couldn't we have hopped on the bus or something instead of walking all the way to wherever we're going?"

"It's not that far," the bulky floating goddess tittered. "We've only gone two or three miles! If I can handle it, I know you can, little one!"

Cassie's eyes narrowed, staring daggers at her spectral companion.

"Easy for you to say. You're the one who's floating the whole time."

Before she watched Massiva rounding a corner, she could hear the music. In an instant, she knew where Massiva had agreed to meet Isaac at.

"Massiva! No! Not-"

As soon as she rounded the corner, the poor girl stopped. Her shoulders slumped, her eye twitching. Of all the places Massiva could have taken her, she had to pick the home of the most obnoxious, egocentric Neanderthal fuckboy dickheads of Shelton University.

The Kappa Phi Deltas. Or as they're most lovingly known amongst the student populace - The Nepo House, an all Legacy fraternity of meatheads and dipshits who thought they were the Cream of the Crop because of their families and money.

"What is wrong with this place, small one?" Massiva asked, a placid smile on her face. "This place seems absolutely lively!"

"Not the Nepo House!" Cassie groaned, turning on her heels. "Isaac isn't here! So let's just go home and-"

"Hey! Cassie!"

The sound of Isaac's voice caused the mousey girl to freeze mid-motion. Her mind was screaming at her to go, but her heart and other parts of her body were pulling her elsewhere.

"Heeeeey, Isaac!" she creaked out, forcing herself to turn back towards Nepo House in time to watch her crush running towards her. Massiva eyed the boy, judging him with an approving glare. The boy was athletic, that was without question. But it was the way he treated her host, the way he seemed actively interested in what she liked. She could feel Cassie's body responding in ways that she exhibited with no one else.

"I'm glad you could make it," he said, flashing a winning smile as he rubbed his arm. "I know this isn't usually your type of scene, but I was hoping you'd make it out."

"You know me," Cassie replied, putting on a brave face as she pushed her glasses up. "Big old party animal, that's me. A hardcore party hamster!"

As she watched Isaac laugh at her joke, Massiva was struck by how honest the boy was reacting. He was tickled pink by her weak joke! Was this... No, it couldn't be!

"If you want, I'll stay by your side so you don't feel uncomfortable. And if at any point you want to leave, just tell me and we'll bounce. Okay?"

Cassie's eyes darted towards the unseen Goddess of Mass, hovering behind Isaac like a stagnant breeze. Then, with a soft sigh, she nod her head while muttering a curt but simple "okay". Isaac smiled at her, holding out his hand for hers. And once hand in hand, safety suffused through Cassie's mind as she let him guide her towards the party at the Nepo House.

"By Al-Thakeem's starry river," Massiva thought to herself, her hands covering her mouth in surprise. "It is! Actual LOVE!"

The spectral goddess smiled, knowing that one way or another, her mortal tether was going to be getting laid tonight. And that notion alone was intoxicating for the formless being. By the end of the night, she was going to bring the two of them together as close as the dark night sky and the sheets of a lover's bed. And if anything dared get in the way of her plans, then she'd have to crush whoever and whatever stood against her.
