I believe for a time that Bev Francis was either her trainer or training partner as she once worked at Bev's gym. Wonder how the two would have fared had they competed against each other.

Yes, she was trained by Bev Francis.  How I wish she stayed in the sport longer and competed more.

Now that's a bodybuilder in every positive sense of the word. Beautiful posing and stage presence, exquisite conditioning, the total package... She's missed.

It's nice that someone notices her gracefulness. I remember seeing her on ESPN posing in the '92 USA's. The announcer was very classy, stating that she was a protege' of Bev's, "one of the most muscular women of ever" and how "this woman now is entering that realm". She may have even surpassed Bev who just 1 year earlier shocked the Ms. O show w/jher most massive physique ever. The only other physiques comparable before then would have been Cathy Butler in '88 AAU/NABBA Nat/USA), Jan Harrell from 90-1. In the 20+ to follow only a few more have been on that level (Lockwood, Envall, Guimond, Lehtonen, McMaster, Bouchard?).

She won the overall at the USA in 1994, so that made her a pro if she wanted to pursue that path. Unfortunately, she decided to never compete again. That's not the only time that's happened.
