I was just thinking about what happened to her and came across the news today.  Sadly we lost another one.  And she was a looker wasn't she.

Just to give you an idea of what she went through, here's a repost from Muscle Insider's Facebook page from January 2nd 2023. A little more than a month before she died. She describes her ordeal:

We regret to report that IFBB Pro Tonya Knight is battling a very serious cancer. "I was feeling terrible. I found out on Tuesday that I have Cancer and it is in the sinuses and causes horrible headaches, burning sinuses, my teeth and gums hurt,and my lymph nodes in the neck are like the size of golf balls. I already know I will be having chemo and radiation. I'm scheduled for a PET scan to see where else it is in my body. The pain is unbearable." -Tonya Knight

Looking back at the birth of ladies bodybuilding, her story brings back such wonderful memories !   In contrast...how very bad I feel at the loss of this sweet gal.   RIP Tonya

I was fortunate enough to watch a guest posing of hers many years ago.

I was young at the time (about 10 or so) and went with the family to a bodybuilding competiton here in Sydney.  She came onstage for an interiew (I had no idea who she was at the time haha) but she came back onstage a few moments later to perform her routine...she rocked the house!!  I was immediately hooked!

RIP Tonya gone but never forgotten
