You are 100% correct.  You could give truth serum to any 1000 musclewomen in the world and not find a single one who lifts and builds her body for the sake of what fans are interested in.

The psychology that brings a woman into building her physique - with or without the use of anabolic supplements - has nothing whatsoever to do with the muscle fan marketplace.

I agree with this. However, there is ONE male who's opinion will probably matter to the fbb -- her significant other (boyfriend or husband). This can sometimes be a factor.

Okay but that still has nothing to do with the male fans. That is the women themselves when they look in the mirror. That is also the trainer/MBB/boyfriend/judges/sponsor who is telling them they need drugs to look a certain way. Bigger, leaner, whatever.

Anyone who states that he knows why 100 percent of women do or don't do anything at all has proven that he knows nothing more about women than those of us who admit we know very little.

Female bodybuilders are no different then any other athlete who suffer with possible health issues. Boxers have deal with brain tumor. Basketball and football players have issue with their joints. The list go on and on with what can happen. The biggest taboo will always be steroids, but that's no different from any other sport. Cause bodybuilding is a sport of presentation not performance like the other sports people will always associate roids with it. One thing with women is the medical affects of bodybuilding. Changing the female form from soft & fragile to hard & ripped. I've seen the affects on the body from dehydration to near death experiences. And you can't forget all the other diseases and disorders that can effect the average person. One being Cancer and the other heart issues. You add injuries that can really hamper a fbbs development from training. So many great fbbs had to leave the sport cause of medical diagnoses that forced them out. It's heart breaking as a fan to see someone with such great potential not able to go on cause one thing or another.

Fact trumps fantasy when analyzing data, but I fully understand and respect why some fans enjoy the feeling that they are the inspiration for what female physique athletes do with their bodies.

Even if you are able to find the one or even the several hundred women who bodybuild because "that's what the fans want", the total number outliers would be statistically insignificant.

Sycamore is right about many women lifting, because a partner encouraged it.  But because random fans on the street or at the market suggested it?  That's not really a thing until there is enough data to state otherwise.
