She could well enter WBB in the future, but 2nd at the Pittsburgh Pro is a great achievement, as I'm sure she thinks so, and we do as well . The issue athletes are facing at the moment is (yet again) the diminishing number of contests available for WBB athletes.
Until the athletes and sponsors get behind WBB with full commitment, this fact will discourage athletes from going the extra mile.  The number of contests that have WBB as an option is dwindling, making Physique more attractive (although some Arnold contests have dropped Physique as well). The athletes I have spoken to train to compete, they love it. No contests, no athletes. Look what has happened to IFBB Elite, hardly any Physique contests left now, the athletes have gone, or swapped to Pro League.

The only show that outright eliminated WBB has been Omaha. And I think last year, there were only 2 or 3 women who competed in that show and years before that, there never seemed to be more than 5-6 competitors, so you can't exactly blame the organization for dropping the division if hardly anyone was showing up.

The entire Indy, Puerto Rico and the Lenda Murray Savannah shows were just scrapped altogether. I heard the people who ran the Indy show just didn't have the time to do it anymore. Lenda either didn't make any money from the Savannah show or can't handle promoting both Savannah and Atlanta (which is still on). There are still more shows now for WBBs than there were 9-10 years ago, when the division really was looking dead. Consider that Vancouver and NY added WBB in recent years. There are also a couple more shows in Europe that weren't there a few years ago.

I don't think the current Olympia qualification system is a good one for a smaller division like FBB. Regardless, the biggest issue is the number of participants. If you have women who are just sitting on the sidelines or can't seem to decide what division they should enter, then this is what you're going to get.

Indeed. There were no WBB shows soon after the Iris reign ended, so the fact WBB came back had been just a dream. However, the division is faltering right now. Maybe we will see another "reset", as there must be a reason why the division is not continuing to expand. No money in it for promoters is no doubt the main reason, same as last time when WBB disappeared for a while.

Back to Emily, it is good to read how pleased she is with her placing and rightly so. Coming second to Natalia is an amazing result. I don't think qualifying for the Ms O automatically is a reason for Natalia not to compete. And it gives other athletes a chance to see in the flesh what they must do to get to the top contest and do well when they do. Contest FBB's do it to compete, and they should do it as often as they want to for themselves and their fans.

I'm really hoping for an Emily win for two reasons:

1. She's always improving, is one of the hardest workers in FBB, and brought an amazing physique to this show.

2. I am hoping for more women at the O this year, not less. Natalia is already qualified for the O as last year's champ! I don't understand what she's doing in Pittsburgh.

OK I'm all verklempt! Please, discuss amongst yourselves. Who deserves the win, Emily or Natalia.

I think Emily deserves to win Natalia Emily have great definition her legs are huge, upper body she remember me to Sherri Priami she swict to WBB category for be more huge to WP
