Dear Marina, kindly send us your current stats (Height, Weight, Bicep size,  Hips, Quads, Waist, etc.) if possible - I am doing a comparative study on the Biggest Female Bodybuilders, and I am sure, yours is right at the top.

Thanks to everyone who helped Marina by voting for her at the Ms Health & Fitness 2018 competition!
In the end, she won her International group!
She did not win the whole contest, but the lady who beat her, Amy Howe, won the whole contest, so you could argue that Marina might have won had Amy not been there.

At any rate, Marina is delighted, as she is currently not so well known in the Physique world. This contest was all about high profile.
Amy has 2 Fitness Businesses and  ten's of thousands of fitness followers, so massive vote pulling power.
Marina was more famous in her peak years of 2010 - 2011, and uses her married name rather than her maiden name, so is less well known. Also, unlike Amy, Marina has her career and own business which is a top international dental clinic, which takes up 70-100 hours per week. Physique / Bodybuilding is actually a hobby for her. And she just turned Pro this year!

So, to achieve top of her division and reach the semi finals, is an incredible achievement for her, and whilst she would like to have won, she is delighted. No other athlete can say they got to the semi finals, when they are not in fact full time in the fitness industry!

So thanks again for supporting Marina, and special thanks to the top team in Saradas and the other mods for their hard efforts.

I am sure Marina will be back on line soon to chat to us, she has very good reasons not to be here at the moment. But she was very flattered to have such support from you all.

Timmon.

Marina is competing at the IFBB Pro Qualifier, Burneika Sports Festival in Warsaw, Poland, this weekend. She has finished Prejudge, and is through to the Finals tomorrow!
She is in Physique, but is also trying Figure this weekend. It is the first time she has worn high heels on stage since 2007!

If you are a fan of Marina's, you will know that she turned Pro in the IFBB Elite organisation this year. Elite is not keen on the dryer look, and Marina likes to do the job well, and look muscular and feminine. So she has decided to try Pro League, which prefers a dryer look, and still embraces bodybuilding, more than Elite, which prefers Bikini and Wellness.

She is back to the sort of size she was in when she won her weight at the Arnold Amateur International in 2011. That is how Physique and Figure have now  caught up with FBB, that Marina must now reach this level in order to stand a chance of becoming a Pro, in IFBB Pro League.

Marina says today has been tough, as the show has not been running smoothly, with Athletes told to be at the event hours before they go on stage, and the event hall is very cold, so staying pumped and vascular is very hard for the athletes.

I am hoping Marina will tell you more herself, but the hours she puts in at work, plus her training, mean she has little time to come onto the forum.

A question was raised about her stats. A few for you from what she told me yesterday.

She is competing today at 56kg. When she won the 2011 Arnold, she was 57Kg. BUT she was drier in 2011, so she is not yet back to 2011 form.
When she won the German Champs in 2016, her first win in Physique, she was 53Kg, and a bit drier.

Her Biceps are at their biggest ever at 34cm. But, she is not as dry as she would like.  So, she is happy with her improvements, and having had a year off last year, and also this is a hobby rather than a full time sport like so many she is competing against, it is a remarkable achievement.

We wish her good luck for tomorrow!
