Kathy Connors and Trudy Ireland are other examples.....desperately pretending to be 20 years younger than they really are for some reason.

I read recently on some site that Yvette Bova is in the late 30's...actually she's in the mid 50's....When these female bodybuilders talk about their age they sometimes forget what they have said before..Yvette has boasted about being a war veteran in the US army in the Golf war at amg-lite....if that's a fact then she was a very very young girl being sent to war..do not believe a word from these female bodybuilders

Lisa has, as far I could tell, never 'pretended' to look any younger than she actually is (57 or 58), and to be honest looks younger than many other women her age precisely because she hasn't ever gone overboard on the make-up, tanning or cosmetic surgery (only tastefully small breast implants).  When you see her, whether in contest photos (from only a few years ago) or especially off-season/as now (still muscular), she looks great and at least 5 years younger than her actual age.  Yes, some FBBs (mainly those who never made it big in competition and who solely rely on sessions for income) do try and 'stave off' ageing to attract clientèle (mostly with quite mixed results), but its up to them what they do with their bodies or how they want to look.  Its a proven clinic fact that men tend to age better (in terms of facial appearance) than women, so give them a break.
