who is she ?

She looks like Lori Okami

OdoHerr

You must be right OdoHerr, and the question was also asked here with the same conclusion:  Connection broken

Another golden age FBB with wonderful biceps, amazing sculpted shapes.

[alison brundage]

Lori Okami
We did the Gold's Classic together...Pillow won HW and overall, I won the  MW and Lori the LW.  Ernie Santiago won the mens...it was Hawaii victory day for us !
I forget the year ...81 or so

LOVE this thread

I know what some of these ladies do and look like today (some are really fine others not so much... )

Overall there is a quite a difference between how the girls looked in the late 80:s and the early 90:s, but compared to what the girls of today look like, wonders of femininity!

I am slowly becoming a grumpy old fitness freak that think and feel, that all was better in the good old days

Nah just getting old (laughing).   I remember the last few years I worked as a nurse...the interns and residents looked like they were in Kindergarten.
MoveeGuy..on lean.  Yup the starvation protocol.  Pillow I know did the same.   Pure carbohydrate elimination and just lean meat with vigorous activity like uphill running in the hot sun in sweats. In cycles..like three days of meat and one day off when I could eat an apple or a piece of celery...LOl.....Brutal.  I'm amazed I survived....

That's quite a classic trio. Pillow, Lori Okami and Alison Brundage.  I would have loved to see that pose down.

I know that there are an assortment of pics over the net and a number of magazines available via ebay but does anyone know of any stores taht carry back issues of physique magazines?

Have you seen these?    I can't find a link to the earlier Physique mags...thought there was one.

UPDATE:  No Physique Mags are available anymore from and source other than individuals from EBay.  WSP Mags yes ......

Aw Alison, now I'm blushing.

I know Women's Physique World used to sell copies of their old magazines but I think they were running out of copies and, judging by what's on that link, they must have run out of copies of their older magazines. Women's Physique World was really one of a kind and I eagerly awaited every issue. I still have a large collection from the early 90's up to the end, or near the end anyway.

Through their site wpwmax you can still get copies of their photos and videos. You have to pay for the videos and photo sets but there is an option to become a member and have access to the entire site for one regular fee.

and for those interested there is a set of Alison Brundage photos on wpwmax too. Photos of Alison at her bodybuilding prime(Alison I said at your "bodybuilding prime" and not simply at your prime. I don't know if you've reached your prime yet and if you have then I'll leave that for you to decide when that was).
