Yeah, both of them were really great! I honestly like them both, but I prefer Denise a little more because of the other videos she has done. In the contest itself, they were both incredible. But again, Denise really made it legendary with her very flirty posing routine.

Both were impressive in their own way, but I tend to lean toward Sandy Riddell.

Denise Rutkowski had incredible mass and conditioning for the era—very dense, very hard look. She definitely pushed the envelope in terms of muscularity and stage presence.

But for me, Sandy Riddell's physique looked more balanced and aesthetically pleasing overall. Her symmetry, shape, and flow between body parts just made the physique look more complete on stage. It felt closer to the classic ideal of bodybuilding where proportion and presentation were just as important as size.

So if I had to chose:
Rutkowski for sheer impact and muscularity, Riddell for balance and aesthetics. Personally, I prefer the balance.

This is a really good contrast because they represent two very different "versions" of what 90s bodybuilding was becoming.

Denise Rutkowski was just explosive for her time—tons of mass, crazy delts and arms, and a level of conditioning that really stood out. When she was on, she had that "wow factor" where she could overwhelm a lineup just on presence and muscularity. You could argue she was slightly ahead of where judging was fully comfortable going at that point.

Sandy Riddell, on the other hand, is more of a classic 90s ideal:

• Better overall flow
• More balanced top to bottom
• Physique that connects really cleanly from pose to pose

She might not hit you as hard at first glance as Denise, but the longer you look, the more everything makes sense structurally.

For me, it comes down to what you value:

• Impact / power → Denise
• Balance / aesthetics → Sandy

Personally, I lean Sandy Riddell. Denise is impressive, no question, but Sandy's physique just holds together better across all poses. It feels more complete, whereas Denise—while incredible—can look a bit top-heavy and more "specialized" toward upper body dominance.

That said, if Denise had stayed longer and refined her balance, she could've been a serious problem in that era.

Curious what others think—do you go with the immediate impact of Denise, or the long-term watchability of Sandy's structure?
