I've gotten on a plane to go to shows and had some great sessions. I'm in the Midwest so the options are limited but I'm planning on a session about 3 hours away next month.  It will be a day trip. I guess you could call it a passion! 😂😂

That is what I do or when I travel for work, I will try to squeeze a session in with someone I been wanting to.

The area I live is not normally a destination for sessionettes so I'll drive up to 8 hrs.  I also travel for work so I'm used to driving long distances. I also try to adjust mu schedule to be in the same city for a session.

I've driven over 6 hours roundtrip (Sac to San Fran in traffic) to session with Arekah on two occasions and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I once flew from Denmark to Romania. The session was not the main reason for my trip, but her traveling there was the reason I extended an extra day as I never knew when I might have a chance to be near her again. She's not from the U.S.

I've also flown from Copenhagen to Amsterdam to have my ass handed to me, although that was not a session. lol

Just some clarification, are we talking about mileage that we drive only? Does airline travel mileage count? I've definitely booked sessions with people across the US, mostly in Vegas, LA, Columbus or Florida, and planned leisure trips based on the session I wanted to do.  I've even traveled into Canada to do a couple sessions.

Original query was how far would you go  for someone listed near your home area. I'm as guilty as anyone for altering it but that was how it started out.

It depends on the sessionette of course, but certainly a 6-ish hour drive if needed.

For the right girl, easily across the Atlantic, for the single purpose of meeting (as opposed to having an already planned trip for other purposes). Have done so and will do so in the future. And for a bucket list session, literally across the globe.

As a clarification, my location is not exactly a hotbed for session visitors, so a sleepover is almost always something I need to plan for.

I once drove 300 miles from NW England to SW England for a 1hr session. She was aware of the trek I was making and was prepared to be flexible about my arrival time. It was okay, but  in hindsight I should've had a walk about to stretch my legs a bit on arrival instead of heading straight to her. Drove straight back afterwards, think I was on the road from 10am to 10pm and was knackered when I got home. I decided to never be that daft again no matter how enticing the lady might be.

Since then my limit is broadly 100 miles/couple of hours drive to her.

A thought provoking question as i try to recall the various scenarios that led to sessions. 50 miles (little over an hour) when at home. I have gone as much as 2 1/2 hours (150 miles) out of my way when I was already traveling for other reasons in order to work in a session. Strangely, it seems like less of a burden to travel farther when I am already away from home but I live in a major city.
