Lovely Japanese woman with a nice, natural look. She appeared in the 2017 championships and was a little overshadowed by Yuka Abe (though she finished second, ahead of Abe). I put together a little video combining her appearance, solo routine, and lineup posing:

I noticed her too, she has nice symmetry, I believe she's 37 years old. Here's a link to that 2017 Tokyo Championship: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

She took 2nd place at the 2015 Tokyo Championships as well, a few pics from that one:

Not gonna lie, she should be in Figure instead of WPD.

"she should be in Figure instead of WPD"

Definitely true internationally, but in Japan she seems to be pretty much on par with the WPD competitors of that country. This seems to be true of Japanese physique/bodybuilding competitors in general - they tend to be smaller and older than what I notice on the international scene.

Not sure why that is, given that nearby Korea has produced several internationally popular and successful competitors. I heard it has to do with stricter drug controls, but I'm not entirely convinced this explains it... It could also be a different aesthetic criteria which values hardness and symmetry over size.

Sorry for the late reply but yes  in Asia, the South Koreans are way ahead especially in Bikini and Figure. Also helps that they got multiple BB feds as stepping stones for athletes to switch over to IFBB Pro League.
