I see why they're needed.  Worried that some of the women  will keep the money if their plans change.  I know it depends by the person.  Do all of you do deposits?

Yeah,  I always do deposits. Never had an issue.

Deposits re the norm these days.  I've only had to do them the first time I sessioned with the FBB, not thereafter.  I've never had a problem, and even quickly got a deposit back when a last minute flight cancelation caused her to cancel her visit to my city.

Never had a problem with deposits - heard of some issues here when plans change and there were one or two retired session providers who were notoriously unreliable but for most part there shouldn't be an issue- even with figure power who was very flaky I gave a deposit she cancelled trip but I eventually saw her 6 months later and she remembered the deposit so no loss in the end

Mostly no issues. The few times they've cancelled their trip, they refunded me.

I had one bad experience where I sent deposit, she insisted I get my own hotel room (though she was traveling, not local), she gives me ok to book room, I book it and let her know, she tells me she has to cancel session and sends me $100 deposit back, but I'm still out $100 from the hotel room.

These days most of my sessions are local and my go-to SG knows me well, so no deposit (which I wouldn't mind doing if she asked, the fact that I don't have to travel is the most convenient aspect). I wouldn't even care if she asked me to pre-pay electronically, would save me the trip to the ATM. But there's higher risk for getting her accounts shut down I guess, if I were to send large amounts.
