Just a short story
I was looking for an apartment to buy in the city. Short story short: I had won the lottery and had money. People in the city want a cabin in the woods, I live in the village and wanted a apartment in the city, about two hours drive from my village.
So I call up a real estate agent I had read about in the paper, a well dressed man in his sixties and asked if he had an apartment that would suit my needs. A one bedroom, central, parking garage, balcony and cozy. He said that he had one on hand, but he wasn't able to go with me the day I was coming to town, so he asked if it was OK if I went alone. Of course, I said.
It was a hot summer day in the city, I came in early - got the keys from his office and took the bus to see the apartment. But before going inside I went to drink a cup of coffee just to get the feeling of the neighborhood. It was quiet, it seemed like everyone was at work. Looking at the building across the street, there were some open balcony doors, but nothing really going on.
I went to get a take away coffee and headed for the apartment. The coffee rested in the kitchen when I looked around. The apartment was nice. After a while I remembered my coffee, that was still warm. I decided to bring it to the balcony. Standing there drinking my coffee I notice the door to the neighbor balcony one floor down open. A girl comes out, probably a high school or university student, because she has a thick book in her arms together with some beverage. She wears a buttoned white shirt and a skirt. She sits down and starts reading. I try to see what kind of book she is reading, but it's too far. Then she turned the page and there's a big drawing of a person doing exercise - probably some anatomy or something.
The girl is really pretty, but me coffee is out and I feel stupid standing there looking at her, so I walk inside. Just as I step inside, I notice that she pulls up her sleeves on the shirt, I what do I see? It seems like right under the shirt there's been a big biceps the whole time waiting to see the sun. But it's too late to turn around again, so I walk downstairs and my a third cup of coffee and walk back up.
As I step out on the balcony the girl is leaning back, half sitting, halfway laying in the chair. I was right! Her biceps are really prominent. Even just sitting there holding the book I see it clearly. Right above her elbow there's a big bulge on her upper arm. And every time she turns a page it flexes and unflexes. Her arms are tanned. It makes her biceps look bigger and more defined. And strong.
As she's more and more leaning backwards her upper body is almost horizontal. Then suddenly she unbuttons a couple of bottoms on her shirt and it slides down on the side. And its not hard to spot - the lower part of her abs. The line in the middle is deep and there is a line going from side to side defining four squares around her belly button.
Then she leans for her sun block. As she raises her head, it's like a slow sit up. Her stomach contracts slowly and the bricks look like something made in bronze of an Italian artist. She unbuttons the next two buttons so her shirt from her bra en down now slides down on the side. In this moment I realize why its called a six pack. The four bricks in the beginning had two more friends father up the stomach, now her whole six pack is at display.
She shakes the bottle with sun block and ably it on her abs. Then she starts with her hands to spread it around. Really accurate. First the upper right abdominal muscle, then the upper left. So father down. Her stomach is glistering in the sun.
Then when I though she was done I see her starting at her upper left brick, using her finger and draws a line across her stomach and back. And one more line. And then a curved line. And one more curved line with a minus inside. Then I see it, she has written "U LIKE" on her abs.
I was busted.
Then I walked inside and called the estate agent and told him that I am buying the apartment.
