What a great physique Fernanda has worked to achieve after only a few years of training. Hope we see more of her soon and in the future. Thanks jcon and frank41 for the pics!

News was confirmed by family members. Athlete had pulmonary thromboembolism. Disease may be caused by use of estrogen supplements.

Fans of  fitness competitor Guttila Fernanda, 31, were caught by surprise by the news of her death, reported by the team and sister athlete on Friday, 01 on social networks.

Fernanda was Brazilian and world champion in bodybuilding, was hospitalized for 20 days in São Paulo with a pulmonary thromboembolism that evolved into pneumonia. This morning, she had a cardiac arrest and died in hospital Monemagno. The body of the athlete will be buried later on Friday, 01, in the cemetery Fourth Parade in Sao Paulo. The information was disclosed by her boyfriend Fernanda, the bodybuilder Vinicius Piffardini.

"I never imagined that one day would give such news. Life really is a box of surprises. This morning my girlfriend and @fernanda_gutilla companion came to leave us. She did not deserve it. I hope God will help us to overcome this tremendous loss and comfort our hearts, "wrote the athlete.

Supplements can cause thromboembolism

Fernanda was hospitalized with pulmonary embolism, a severe condition that occurs when a blood clot located in one of the veins of the legs or pelvis loose, travels through the body and lodges in one of the lung arteries, impeding blood flow.

One of the causes of the disease is the use of estrogen supplements, which are found in birth control pills and hormone replacement therapy.

Musa complained of health problems

In early June, Fernanda had been complaining of health problems in social networks. She even said that would compete even if it was not good.

"I know you like to follow the evolution of athletes and their routine, so I will say here my situation. I am very sad, I had pneumonia and I am still suffering the consequences, much cough, shortness of breath, headache. I am several days without training, going straight to the hospital, trying to keep as much of the diet and rest. I will compete in July, well or not being. I do not know how far my physical will be hampered by lack of training, I'm probably in a catabolic process besides not have almost no caloric expenditure hindering my cutting. what stage! just in my PRO Debut. But anyway, I have to take care of my health now, that's the most important. Pray for me to disappear this zica, "he wrote at the time.
A week ago, friends posted a picture and in the hospital and his sister, Flavia, asked for prayers for the health of the muse was delicate. "I came to ask for you to pray a lot for her. She needs all the positive energy at the moment. I can not talk about the picture. But please, pray, ask God or whom you believe," She wrote.

Already on Wednesday, she broke the news of her sister's death and paid tribute. "Today the day started very sad. The plug has not fallen and I'm not aware deal. Today God wanted her to finish his mission on earth. His passing was too fast, but it was brilliant. You were a warrior. You fought. You could get where he wanted while he was here. Everyone knows how much we looked like cat and mouse. But the truth is that we always loved and always wanted the good of each other. and that gnt was always together when needed. safe to reprimand the another, always. and now I'm here, holding this scolding alone because you left me. But I do not give up no, I'll take care of mom and dad! Meanwhile, you receive plenty of light where you've been and continue your way around the other side! You will always be my older. the one who defended me in high school. the one who zuava me until I go berserk. force then we create power here. Stay with God, "She wrote.
