" My name is Conny Junker, I´m 38 years old and live Murnau, Barbaria, Germany.  (Born 27.7.1963)

My career as a bodybuilder started 20 years ago when I happened to step in a gym for the first time, since I had broken my left ellbow at work and had to do something to keep my condition and fitness while being unable to train horses (which used to be my profession at that time). According to my job, and also to doing all sorts of sports during my youth, my physical appearance was already athletic (though not as massive as now, of course) and so I managed to win my first competition after only one year work out.

Right from the beginning I was enthuastic about this sport and still I´m.

I get very much supported by my husband Claus, who is also a bodybuilder. Both of us competing, one can say that we really do live the bodybuilding - lifestyle at any time, concerning the daily workout and diet. Beside Bodybuilding, which is my favourite, I have some other hobbies like climbing mountains, reading books, and doing paintings (preferably human bodies and animals).

The record of my most important competitions are as follows:

- German champion and over-all winner both in the year  1996 and 1998
- Second place at geh European championships in Poland in 1998
- European champion in Essen (Germany) in 1999
- Women´s World Champion and over all winner in Poland in 2000
- Women´s Masters world champion in CSSR in 2000
- Gold medal at the World Games in Japan in 2001

My next challenge will be to try to defend my world champion title this year in Rio de Janeiro and, if everything works out right, also the Women-Masters in Spain."
