I wonder if anyone can help me with this. It's a story series I read many years ago on D_eviantAr_t, I believe. You'll have to excuse the vagueness of my description, but it's probably been 10 years or more since I read parts of it.
I think the series was called Anacondas or something similar. It was situated in a coastal region of what seemed like South America. The story was told from a perspective of a man, who wasn't a local. Can't remember how he got there. The women there were built strong and thick. Might not have been ultra muscular, but the thickness was very pronounced in all the key areas. There might have been something in the water supply of the whole coastal region causing this. There might have been a war, or atleast some hostilities with another nation across the sea. I remember ships being involved, somehow. I also seem to remember one of the women diving for treasure, without scuba gear etc. I kind of remember there being quite a bit of world building in the narration, like a lot of thought had been put into creating the world. Unfortunately, that's pretty much all I got.
The reason I always wanted to find this story, was that I had a gnawing feeling there were more parts to the story that I just never got to reading, and then forgot about it existing for many years. I've been searching the site from time to time without any luck.
Any help or clues would be appreciated.
