2020 British Grand Prix 4th November
« on: November 06, 2020, 08:30:23 pm »
Our friend Miréa Henriquez was coming to the UK to compete in the British Grand Prix on 4th November, but due to the need to quarantine for 14 days in the current pandemic, sadly she could not come. I hope Mirea will come to the UK another year, she will be very welcome.

The event was small in Women's Physique, but the standard was incredible! Lenka Ferencukova from Czech Republic took 1st, in the best shape I have seen her in for a while, and the UK's own Corinne Ingman earnt a great 2nd place.

Lenka now qualifies for the Olympia in December.

The show was actually brought forward a day to beat the English national lock down that started on the 5th November. Quite an achievement, the show must go on.

This qualifies her for the 2021 Olympia, not this year's. But yeah, she did look in the best shape of her life.

Corrine also looked incredible but her look is probably better suited for the BBing division.

Thanks for the clarification. The cutoff date for this year's Olympia was October 18th.

Surely, these 2 shots, there is a girl who stands out and she is not the winner!

But for God's sake! these buttocks cut from flint, streaked to wish!! ...

It's even likely that the winner isn't the best of the three in that shot,

Epic!

All in all and yet, in the ambiant "artistic" blurring of the judges' criteria would'nt be it  for some atlete, however, to go straight to the BB Pro?
Yoll u' tell me that she will run aground on the same kind of pitfall? But with such imposing scope and striated definition, which Saint should she devote herself to?
Anyway very impressed, like I'm falling for her. What a massive beauty, what a butt! Bravo, happy long beautiful life to her n good luck.

One of 2020 revelation for me.

If you mean Corinne Ingham, 2nd Physique, the reason is she was too big for Physique. She has taken this feed back on board, and is moving on to Bodybuilding Division. This is the correct decision to stop bigger women entering a lower division in order to win, although this does happen , of course. Recently, I saw an athlete enter a NPC event in Figure, Physique, and Bodybuilding, and she won all three! Not seen that before, except when there are no other athletes in the contest, so the enter just so there is a "contest". That was not the case in this instance, there were plenty of competitors, but winning all 3 degrades the contest.

Corinne says she is happy to move on up.  Maybe if Bodybuilding Division had not been revived, the result would have been different. If you go back to when Physique was first introduced, many FBB's were dropping back to Physique so they could still have contests to enter, but few did that well, as even down sized, they were too big. It's a bit different now, as we know.

Thanks Guys, I had it in my head it was 18th November to cover Romania this weekend! My mistake, I extended the deadline with wishful thinking. Spot on e_honda , Corinne is moving on to Bodybuilding Division.
