The news she'll no longer compete is a bummer, I remember when she guest posed a few years ago - she hadn't 'earned' her pro card yet - and I thought she already looked better than everybody in the show.

She has indeed a very solid physique. It took me quite a while to like her, and now I'm a fan :)

When did she say that?

Hi all,
I think that, sadly, she now deserve a place in this type of hall of fame. She is still big, but she now doesn't pose nor compete. I don't post anything of her because in this forum there are a lot of materials and I have nothing new. But I think she was always underrated both in sport and female bodybuilding fanbase.
I dream of her comeback a day. She is still young enough!
What do you think about Oana?

I agree that Oana is one of those athletes who never seemed to get the level of recognition her physique deserved.

When people discuss European female bodybuilders from the last decade, the same handful of names usually come up, but Oana Hreapca always struck me as someone who could hold her own against much more famous competitors. She had impressive muscularity, especially in her arms and upper body, while still maintaining good overall balance.

I also think her popularity among fans was somewhat limited by the fact that she wasn't constantly competing or promoting herself compared to some athletes who built a larger social media presence. Sometimes visibility has as much impact on a fanbase as contest results do.

As for a comeback, I wouldn't completely rule it out. We've seen athletes return after several years away from the stage. Whether they actually want to go through contest prep again is another question, but physically she certainly appears to have maintained a lot of her development.

You're probably right that she was underrated. Not necessarily overlooked by dedicated fans, but she rarely seems to get mentioned in discussions of notable physiques from her era, which is surprising when you look back at some of her best photos.

If Oana announced a return to competition tomorrow, I'd definitely be curious to see how she stacked up against the current lineup.

It's a shame she's already retired.
