Pavla Brantalova always struck me as a very special and very easy-to-admire athlete. She was not the biggest, but she had a blend of clean lines, balance, and hardness that made her stand out a lot. And it was not just visual impression either: she won the 1998 European Championship lightweight class and placed 2nd at the 1999 Jan Tana Classic, so the level was clearly real. Maybe not a massive historical superstar, but absolutely a very refined and memorable competitor.
