Thank you everyone to everyone who has continued to read and enjoy this story. This is the last chapter and short epilogue. I hope you all enjoy it. The New World Order

In 3 short years, the post World War 2 era was undoubtedly over. More than half the globe is now part of the New Amazonia Empire. Many of the remaining countries have become semi-independent vassal states. Subservient and loyal to the Empire. Leaving less than a dozen who still oppose them. But it wouldn't be long for them to either willingly join them, or collapse from the inside.

The Empire's path from global hegemony to planetary rulers was as Caitlin had described it, inevitable. The subservient vassal states would be allowed to remain. Since only women could rule in New Amazonia, vassal states where men could rule would be allowed to remain. But this was only to help maintain peace and order. No one would dare be allowed to challenge the rule of the Master Amazons.

There are currently 13 Master Amazons with supreme authority, yet most were not politically active. A couple ruled a pair of vassal states and Caitlin was still the current Empress, formerly known as President. She's grown significantly since the days of the former United States. At nearly 8 feet tall with muscles and a presence that overshadowed all of the Executive Amazons. She was a true Empress in both vision and global power.

The powerful Executive Scarlet Jewel could always be found close to her side. They two were always childhood friends and occasional lovers but neither were committed to the other romantically. Caitlin officially took three husbands as her harem of lovers but they were more like political pawns and sexual play things to her than true partners.

Like all the Master Amazons, her brain was also super enhanced. She saw and understood the world in a completely different way to those beneath her. And she had grand plans for the future of humanity she wished to enact before passing on her position. 

Nearly 70% of New Amazonian citizens were augmented by now, most of them receiving some form of support protocols but with enhanced bulk. There are also current plans for near universal uptake of nanomachine augmentation by the first Empress elections next year. No term limits existed and Caitlin herself was still both running and the favourite. But the position had the great benefit of becoming a Master Amazon. Probably the most coveted prize in the world at the time. Obviously, only those truly loyal would be allowed to run for the office.

The victor may become the Empress but they'd still answer to the council of Master Amazons as a whole. The Overseers of Integrity, Affairs and Progress would also be there to support any future Empress too.

These were also positions held by Master Amazons. The key positions of government necessary for a harmonious global state that are not up for a vote.

The smallest physically of the Master Amazons Kristen Vogle-Green was the current Overseer of Integrity. Her job was the maintenance of order within New Amazonia primarily through intelligence, propaganda and espionage. Her army of Enquirer enhanced humans were the nightmare of any resistant fighter or international adversary. She was also the only one of the Overseers to employ enhanced males, even providing men with some of the highest available positions in New Amazonia.

Kristen had no known partners and her personal life was a mystery to even the other Master Amazons. Her ability to completely morph her body to appear as anyone may have had something to do with this. She was a true chameleon and master spy.

The Master Amazon and living weapon Violet Jewel held the vital role of Overseer of Affairs. She was in command of the defence of New Amazonia and also its conquest of the globe. Once the Office of Integrity discovered any future insurgency or a state planning aggression on New Amazonia, it was Violet and her army of Executive and Enforcer amazons to crush such thoughts and ideas.

Violet was the only known Master Amazon to be in a monogamous hetero-sexual relationship. She was loyal to her husband who'd become the most powerfully enhanced man on the planet. The man was as devoted to his wife as she was to him. So he was rewarded to become the only enhanced male in the world that was given Executive level enhancements. Proof that loyalty, even as a man could be rewarded in New Amazonia.

Isha Singh Kaur was the last of the Overseers. Her portfolio was to bring forth the future of New Amazonia. New technologies and civil engineering projects to create the amazon utopia they'd live in for centuries. She commanded thousands of amazons with enhanced brains all in the pursuit of future progress.

Isha had one of the largest harems of men to serve at her beck and call. She could never be found without at least a couple of her male slaves servicing her divine muscular body. She claimed her body was a temple that deserved constant worship. And divine punishment to those who questioned or affronted it.

One of her most loyal rewarded subordinates was Squirrel. She led her own team in the department while also supervising the department of technical innovations. Her brain had been augmented more than most amazons, reaching heights close to that of a Master Amazon. A reward she'd earned for her accomplishments in Ascendancy Day and her efforts afterwards. She is happily married now to her crush at Queensmount, who serves in a related department.

Her best friend Raven, and maid of honour at her wedding, was also in a high ranked position. She was one of the top ranked government assassins. The mad doctor had taught her well in how to eliminate her target. She was also the specialist called in to deal with rogue enhanced individuals.

Raven had also gotten married in this time to both her wives. The trio were the start of the whole polygamy debate within New Amazonia. And once that was resolved, the trio quickly held a ceremony which famously included some Master Amazons. One of which even officiated the wedding.

Raven called it the best day in her life. She had never been happier. To forever be blessed by her former master to be united with her beloved lovers Coleen and Dionne. Three Executive amazons together was always a sight to see but to see such a happy trio together was a blessing.

Raven wasn't the only highly valued member of the marriage. Coleen is a high ranking officer in the Office of Integrity and the commander of new recruits into the New Amazonia Army. She also occasionally taught new amazon classes. She was renowned as a harsh and uncompromising teacher, but if you'd have asked any of her trainees or students, they had nothing but the highest respect for her.

Dionne held a lesser role than her two wives as an officer in the capitol police.. She's the captain of the amazon crime division. She'd actually bounced around a few jobs. As an Executive amazon, and one of the larger, more powerful ones at that, she was highly sought after. In the end she decided she wanted a more stable job with stable hours so she could spend her time with her wives whenever they were available.

Executive amazons are still a rarity but they do number in the thousands now. The majority of the female population only have basic enhancements, similar to the men despite their freedom to chose greater enhancements. But this would change over time as more women accept their new more powerful role in this society.

The world was changing fast. The future of New Amazonia was bright. And two Master Amazons were forging their paradise together for the truly ascended.

Neither had much interest in mortal society as they called it. Choosing to segregate themselves from it. They remained in contact with the other Master Amazons but mostly as pleasantries. Or when a new Master Amazon was to be created.

The whole process of enhancing people was now under the purview of the Overseer of Progress with most of the process now fully automated, leaving these Master Amazons more time for their paradise.

The majority of the world knew them as Master Amazons but the 11 other Master Amazons knew otherwise. They were as beyond a Master Amazon as a Master Amazon was beyond an unenhanced human. They understood that they were more like Goddesses.

Their names were to forever go down in history as the creators of this new world. The honoured Goddesses, Charlotte Queen and Regina Clarke Queen. They'd further enhanced their bodies into the utmost extremes. Each now over 12 feet tall with further modifications beyond the comprehension of even the most enhanced amazons. Their new abilities could be seen as more akin to magic than science. And they only sought to further improve themselves.

They experimented with their new god-like creation abilities over the nanomachines to pass the time as they worked to discover the future of their own evolution, and that of womankind. As the Goddesses that created the new world.



Epilogue

In a small house in former upstate New York, there was a young couple getting ready to celebrate their 3rd anniversary. The anniversary of when they met that is. They'd just turned off the television news reporting the reelection of Empress Caitlin Rose as they finished preparing for their evening date.

The man had prepared something extra special for this date and was waiting for the right opportunity.

He was once a hospital nurse, but as that job is almost non-existent, he's transitioned into an augmentation aide. Helping those with the nanomachine colonies when alterations or further enhancements are required.

It was while training for this job that he met his girlfriend. She'd been in a coma for nearly a decade. And it was only thanks to the nanomachine treatment that she even woke up. The hospital had her name and medical history but with her amnesia, her past was a mystery. But he didn't care.

Tonight he was going to propose. He loves her and wants to marry her. He just hoped she would say yes. His darling Clarissa.

Aaaand, we finally reach the fitting conclusion of this wonderful story. The New World Order is very much a logical consequence from previous chapters, and it is quite interesting indeed. I know this is beyond the scope of this story, but I do wonder what the societal consequences of a world where many women (and maybe some men?) are immortal would be?? Are there any babies still being born in New Amazonia??

One surprise for me was that Charlotte and Regina did chose to stay away from mortal affairs (they both said they only wanted recognition, but their actions were also based on acquiring and exercising more power, especially Charlotte). I was expecting them to reserve themselves some say in mortal affairs, but they did actually seclude themselves from everyone else...

Finally, I did not really understand the Epilogue... Who is Clarissa?? Iona (didn't she die)??

I always imagine that once someone would attain some form of godhood, 'mortal' affairs would just become something small and insignificant. And they'd look to something far larger and beyond our conceptual mind. They are still recognised as the founders and gods to all the Master Amazons who rule the world.

Nanomachines can be used to control reproduction. I may add this in an edited redraft. Thanks for that note.

A world of Immortals is always an interesting concept, especially the societal shifts and repercussions. I might even do a story on that one day.

Clarissa was Iona's name under witness protection (see her introductory chapter). The Doctor, despite wanting to honour Iona's wishes, couldn't kill her. She killed the identity, the person of Iona but now she lives as Clarissa with no memory of the doctor or her work on the nanomachines. The doctor truly did respect Iona.

The tragedy is that Iona didn't want this. But she is still alive. And is getting a happy ending. I chose my words carefully in that scene for this moment. And I'm a sucker for a good happy ending, despite the dark sadness behind it,

The Epilogue was to reward readers in remembering that tidbit from so early in the story and realising that Iona died, the doctor didn't kill her but made her Clarissa. So she could live. But sadly it was against her wishes.

I'm really happy and thankful to anyone who read this all the way to the end and enjoyed it. I really am. This story was literally in mind going in the bin of abandoned/incomplete stories but the encouragement from one reader after I posted the last chapter I planned to post ever for this story, encouraged me to finish it. S I want to thank erocha75, as this story would never have been finished without their comments here. And I want to say to anyone else reading this, that if you really enjoy a story here, or any other site, that you are enjoying. Please comment or show some appreciation.
