Lift and Carry advice

Hey Fellas,

I'm writing a lift and carry scene in my new novel and have come to understand that since it isn't really my thing, it's hard to write --- but I need it for the character.  Can you give me some thoughts on how it feels, what you like about it, etc to help develop the scene and I'll do the writing.  Thanks in advance for any help.  Feel free to message me or leave comments below.
