She is real, her Australian record was real, she is female by gender.  There is plenty of evidence to support this.
She was intersex, had mental health issues, was a steroid user and was in a very bad place mentally when she "disapeared". 
Religions, all of them, target and embrace those who are easily manipulated.  Due to her completely messed up hormones, and her gender confusion, she began to identify as a male. 
Is she completely honest? Likely not. 
Did she manipulate photos? Likely to a point.  Remember all this going on 15-20 years ago when manipulating photos was alot more difficult. 
It's worth noting that Herkules has a history of attacking female bodybuilders, I've seen them post similar attacks on Denise Hoshor.
