WPW 545 - Joanna Thomas and Mara Brescia
R.I.P Joanna :'(
We met Joanna at the time of the Jan Tana Pro Contest in 2000 when she was in top contest shape (that footage is on WPW 456), then lost touch with her for about three years until we then met her again at the same contest in 2003. We did not do the photo/video work with her at the show, but a month later when she gained a few pounds but you would never know it, as she still looked hard and defined at 5'2" 145 pounds. Joanna is from England, but when she was in New York she visited her bodybuilding friend Mara and we did a tandem gym workout with them, meaning, they competed against each other to see who could do the most reps pound-for-pound for many lifts. Each woman then hits the shots in different outfits, showing off very impressive biceps in particular, then Joanna is interviewed. Joanna's stage routine from the Tana is also included.
