I remastered the footage of Karen that I captured from my VHS ESPN recording of the 1996 Jr Nationals.
The original broadcast color was a little off so I did a white balance based on the lettering in the background.
I cleaned the noise and upscaled the video to 800x600.

Karen built substantially more muscle for this competition than when she was video taped by WPW.
She is even awarded the Schwinn Most Improved Bodybuilder award at the competition.
Sadly she retired after this contest. However, in 2011, she was briefly a member here at Saradas.

Theresa O'Brien also competed at this show. She came in leaner than the previous year but still placed 5th. According to musclememory this was also her last contest.

Same upscale process for her footage. Although, this time I pulled the white balance from the number on her bikini.

Did Theresa retire early as well? I've noticed material on her seems pretty minimal on all corners of the internet.

According to musclememory she only competed at the 1995 and 1996 Junior Nationals placing 5th at both shows. However, here's footage of her from the 1995 Atlantic States where she placed first in heavyweight and overall.

I've also edited my original post and added Theresa's remastered contest footage as well.

Theresa's 1996 footage shows huge development.

Weird, she placed 5th again... Don't recall who else was competing though....
