Christina Savva BNBF Central Miss Physique Champion 2015

On Sunday 19th July 2015 Christina Savva competed first Bodybuilding show – The BNBF (British Natural Bodybuilding Federation) Central Qualifier in St Albans. she was placed first in the Miss Physique category and received an invite to the British Finals on 13th September in Liverpool.
She has been been bodybuilding for just over a year and in preparation for the show she was on a strict diet for 16 weeks.
She was involved in a variety of sports, from Football, Netball, Volleyball to Cheerleading. Then she became interested in bodybuilding when she joined Dr Zak’s Pumping Iron Gym in August 2014 and in January this year began working with her Coach, Nick Papa – a Bodybuilder and Personal Trainer.
Christina quoted “Being a Greek Cypriot girl from a very traditional family, my parents were very surprised when I told them I wanted to be a Bodybuilder. It took them a while to get used to my diet and muscles; however they saw my dedication and love for the Sport and have been a great support. I’m 25 and based in North London and currently work full time as a Research Executive for a media company”.
