"As a 19 year old, I ordered my first ticket to Lucia Cup and since then I have always had the dream to himself one day be on stage. Exercise really means everything to me! There is no better feeling than kick after a hard workout, the satisfaction is hard to beat! I like to try different sports and want to constantly have new challenges and goals.
I started lifting weights already at age 16 but not until the later years I have spent a little extra and have had the ulterior motives that I will one day compete in Body Fitness or Athletic Fitness. I guess I still do not really understand that now that dream can turn into! Which previligie to be involved in talent shows and have people around you who can support one and answer questions when you feel lost.
My passion for strength training has been hand in hand, followed by an interest in nutrition and its impact on lifestyle and health. I took my dietician degree in 2009 and was offered the opportunity to go away on an internship at the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Rome where I was working with nutrition and biodiversity for 6 months. Then I worked as a clinical dietitian at Växjö Central Hospital and now I have just moved to Stockholm to work at the Karolinska Institute as a research assistant on a project on the prevention of childhood obesity.
I am originally from Kalmar, where I still have an apartment and cohabitation. Then it is not easy to find accommodation quickly in Stockholm, I had the privilege to temporarily move in with my partner's mother who lives in Kungsängen, which works better than expected. As a person I am very determined and driven, but I try to tag down and want to enjoy the journey itself, rather than just chasing podium places. I go in to be my best, I, after the conditions that I have, and we could well be a winner! "
