I used to frequently ride my bike along the bike path down there (around 2002 - 2007, etc). And I was surprised how little activity there was in the weight pit (& was almost never women training).. I think @ that time they were charging a couple bucks to use the weights, which maybe discouraged lifters (?)

Anybody been to Venice lately, can attest to how the crowd/traffic is at Muscle Beach now ?
