"Lats" Lemenovskaya.  Check in is today for Sunday's show. She used bodybuilding division pics from 2011 to promote her appearance at this contest. It would be amazing if she could regain her 2011 condition to achieve top 5 in Physique in 2022, but hopefully Marina will improve on  her previous placing at the Mr Big earlier this year. She is certainly regaining form steadily. Good luck!

Marina "lats" Lemenovskaya Schermer at the 2022 Europa Pro last weekend. 11th Place in Physique.

I saw the contest streaming and have to say even in high def streaming, the actual photo's are far better for seeing the athlete's condition. It was good to have running commentary from a real athlete who told us that we may not see that the line up was incredible with ripped muscle and striations everywhere. Certainly the line up looked incredible on the stream, but these photo's do Marina better justice than the streaming did on Sunday.

Having fought her way back from serious illness, her showing in Spain was so much better than the Mr Big and, in my opinion, than the 11th place she was awarded. Her posing has improved 100%. In her routine she showed her best body parts to the max including her lat pose, abs and quads, pecs and thick dense and defined back. Most impressive was her ab pose, which many physique athletes ignore. It is the first time I have seen her tuck her arms close to her head showing her biceps properly, and hitting her abs hard and then introducing her vastly improved quads.  And her confidence showed. She really has left behind her amateur status.

The commentator was also  impressed, but commented she may appear a little small, and said "Good job Marina!"  I think she is well proportioned, and the main areas I hope she will continue to look at is more leg size and more on her guns.

Romania will be a brutal line up again next weekend, but the great advice she is evidently getting from all her trainers, and her positive attitude, who knows what may happen. Amazing how much improvement in 12 months, and on the way to the kind of size we saw in 2011. Good job!

The Romania Pro tomorrow will possibly be the biggest contest of her Pro career so far, and Marina is ready.
