does anyone know what happened to Heather Bayer ?
The rumors I think I heard was that: 1. She had turned pro at the Jr nationals in 2008, and to on from there she would have to get bigger (if you know what I mean) and she was not willing to do that. 2. She was doing it more for her husband and she wanted to stop.
No, she never turned pro. Her last comp was the 2007 Caveman Classic - not a pro qualifier. Pretty sure she won the Caveman Classic that year though. She did a number of photo shoots, and then disappeared.

I think all the women who placed first turned pro at that show. Also, all of the pictures from the last post with the little yellow date in the corner were taken by me. They had a restaurant upstairs where I took most of them. I got to sit next to Aleesha Young for a few minutes when I was up there too. Nice time for someone like me.
Of course in the end it does matter, just hope she is doing OK.
