  • What about clouds? Has anybody tried that method?

I have thought about using a "cloud," but I worry that "it" might "blow away" in the big ol' cyber-sky...Really...I'm not sure I would trust them in the long run...but I know very little about them...?

  • External hard drives a cheap, small, and easy to use.  As long as you don't keep them plug in when not in use.  Store them in a fire proof chest or safe for extra protection.

    Hey to All!

As a method for storing/backing up data, i.e., JPGs, MPGs, MP3s, etc...What, if any, is the difference, quality wise, between a FLASH DRIVE and an EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE? e.g. longevity, does either allow for deterioration of the stored datea etc...
Any replies will be Very Much Appreciated. Best!  :thanks:

Many Thanks, gwhh, for your idea!  K to you!

icloud gives you 50 gigs of storage for just $0.99 a month.

And Google drive gives you 15G free.
