OK don't laugh......THIS is the dress I got !

(..... the librarian look )
ALISON
Dosn't it remind you of all those tee shirts:
"I came all the way to Venice Beach to do the Golds Classic...and all I got was this blue dress"

To be 100 % honest...it belonged to Steve Wennerstrom's girlfriend.  A borrowed item just for the shoot.  Maybe that's why they eventually got the stretchy dresses.....

I still have an old BodyPower mag as well as some Women's Physique Publication mags from 1982-83 with the women in dresses like these. What they called their "musclecake" photos also were hamstrung by fashion. Miniskirts and minidresses didn't really come back in until late 1982, early 1983. When they did, they jumped -- the Lori Walkup photos in the first WPW with her in a blue jean mini, showing those big thighs and calves on a big girl (160 at 5-8!)...my jaw was on the floor.

....snip....

Hey Now, don't dis the Librarian a lot of people have the fantasy of the librarian taking off the glasses,  pulling out the hairpin in her bun letting down her hair, ripping off her clothing, and turning into the wild woman.
Funny you should say that.  That was the NEXT shot in the sequence !!!!.   But you'll have to order the full set from WPW/WSP. (grin)

I'll have to go cinnamon.  and the person who filled it out best - so that it actually looked "clingy" has to be Janice Regain....unbelievable.

While there will always be a special place in my heart for the WPW 'cinnamon body dress' I also have a thing for this other number usually called the 'white/silver lycra mini.'
Probably the thing I like best about it is it won't stay in one place and every time a women flexes she has to re-adjust it or risk popping out of it.

I think we had over 40 different women in the cinnamon dress. This one was featured on at least 30 different women. If I've missed someone please feel free to add them (and the photos) to this list.

There's a lot to be said for that one...especially when it's wet.

Rugby, cool nostalgic thread.

Do you (et al) know or recollect where the Cathy Compton-Smith shoot took place (the brick pathway & arches). Seems like that spot was used for an old Athena shoot as well. It looks cool, always wondered it's location (?)
peace.

I know these were shot at the site of the 1990 NPC USA's....which I think were in Houston (???)
Don't know the name of the hotel but there were a ton of women shot at the same time and place.
