Deposits with bitcoins or other alternative currencies?

When fbbs ask for deposits for wrestling/posing sessions, why are bitcoins or other alternative currencies not used more commonly?
Is it because they're harder to use? Less well known?

I'm curious to hear your opinion. Has anyone ever given a crypto currency as an option? Have you ever used it for this? Thanks

Using crypto can be more difficult ot set up wallets and send deposits. There is no way to reverse a transaction if you send it to the wrong person someone can take the deposit and it is gone. Also Bitcoin has high transaction fees wile lesser known coins like Nano or Iota have no fees.

Some to most of us might learn a different $$ transfer product other than Paypal, but I don't think many want to get involved
with alternative currency, which can appear shady.
