I've never been for a while as satisfied as when I watch WBPF contest videos. The guys running it have absolutely nailed the essence of bodybuilding. I even think the Asian dominance over this federation is a good thing, giving a run for their money to Western athletes.
The Vietnamese BBs brought their A-game as expected, Iryna Kozlova may be lacking a bit in the mass department but her condition has to leave you speechless. The depth of the +55 kg lineup was insane as well. Hope the trend for the next years will be more women present with athletes from Europe/the US break ranks with their original feds and joining the WBPF.
I second Jadefoot, Lilian definitively needs more recognition, recognition she at least has in her own country (Malaysia's Strait Times has several articles on her through the years), something FBBs here can't often get. But Lilian exudes such a positive demeanour and is very articulate. To think she's been in the business for more than 10 years, IIRC she competed first in the US in natural orgs like the WNBF.
