Spam on TurboImage Host

Good Morning All,

   I was alerted by one of our Members that TurboImage Host was putting up loads of spam and porno on my images. I find that to be aggravating as all he*l. I always use Family Safe, so I emailed their Admin looking for a fix. They said it was a kind of glitch that can happen and seem to have fixed the problem. I hope this has not caused problems for any Saradas Members. I like their large thumbnail feature, and again, I always post to Family Safe. Everyone have a good week.

If our members are experiencing annoying ads with imagebam, imagevenue, turboimagehost websites we can recommend two extensions for Google Chrome : Adguard AdBlocker, Popup Blocker Pro. Run both of them at the same time and you will never see ads.

Thanks to all. I just sent another couple emails to Turbo Admin after being told by another Member that it was happening again. They asked for the links and some screencaps of the ads that appear, and I have sent them. I always use the Family Safe setting, but porno and such keeps coming with the pics. It's not happening in every post, just some. Been using ImageBam for some recent posts. Will keep tabs on it.

Is it so hard to just ..IDK ..use Imagebam?

Thanks Adam and my apologies for not getting back to you. I like Turbo for the much larger thumbnails it allows. But I've been adding the same pics on Imagebam just behind the Turbo images. I figure this way if Turbo is spamming an image you want, the Imagebam post below it can be used for a download. Perhaps our Admin has a contact at Imagebam and can request the site allow much larger thumbnails.

One thing I like abouth Turbo is that they keep the originally file name.

At the suggestion by Old Surehand and Admin, I tried "UBlock Origin" for Windows 10. It was easy to download and use, and appears to be blocking the spam pop-ups on Turbo. Will keep tabs on it.
