Well, I guess my posting and saying I had writer's block was all I needed to get over it. So, without any more fanfare, here's the first part of chapter two!

The Monday following her move into her new house, Aurora was in the waiting room of her doctor's office, busy working away on her new phone, setting up her website, her paid and free content, and her in-person sessions. "Exactly what I said. You're not, genetically, a woman. However, and this is equally important, you are not, genetically, a man either. You're...a new gender entirely. You have a modified X and a modified Y chromosome, as well as a new one that, conveniently, looks like a Z. All of them are much larger and more complex than standard chromosomes, which could mean they have more things coded into them. I don't know. More testing needs to be done."

Aurora stared blankly once again. "So I'm a new species? Or a new evolution? I mean, what do I even call myself?"

"Well to be honest honey, I don't know," the doctor said politely. "I wish I had answers for you on this one, but I don't. Much more testing is required. I think you should identify as whatever makes you happy, and go from there. But be assured, you're not the only one with this kind of genetic mutation." The doctor said.

The two went over the rest of the charts, and besides the genetic mutation and monumental levels of testosterone, Aurora was perfectly healthy. She decided to get a low dose of the super steroid, just to keep growing slowly. She wanted to say no, but she just...couldn't give it up.
