Agreed, Kevin.  I had never seen Pat before.  She was enormous!  Anyone have any other photos of her?

It kinda seems like there's a lot less UK FBB activity now than there was in the 80's=90's, doesn't it? Either that or it's receiving a lot less press.  :(
There is a lot less press.
Did you know the UKBFF British Championships were held 2 weeks ago? Can you find any pictures?
Some compettitor pics are on individual athletes FB pages, literally 1 or 2.
Flex UK's coverage is here http://flexpose.flexonline.co.uk/2014/UK-BRITISH-CHAMPIONSHIPS

If you have a large bank balance you can buy some pictures, very hard process, massively expensive. Flex's coverage watermarks the pics so extensively that you can't actually see a muscle in most pics.

UK FBB is very underground, nothing like the rest of Europe, and certainly nothing like the US. I sometimes moan to myself about the quality of the US pics covering major events, but in the UK, there is virtually nothing!

Muscle is out there still in the UK, but it is hidden from view, bizarre for a totally visual sport.

Back to the UKBFF British champs, here's Flex's coverage of the WPD winner Sarah Williams. Congrats to her!
Enjoy the picture  :shucks

Did you see the bodyfitness pictures?
there is only one competetor!
no wonder she won that category
you shouldn't have to ask for karma if it is deserved

Sarah won the Physique contest amongst controversy, because she used to compete in the defunct FBB division and was considered much too muscular for Physique! But she has downsized a lot. It is unusual for an FBB to suddenly storm a Physique contests.
Now the confusion is do Physique athletes increase size and lower BF more for the next contest, or continue to follow the original Physique division body shape guidelines.... I hope they upgrade their bodies and leave slight musculature to the fitness type categories, but you see the confusion here, as usual. And demotivating for all those that have sweated and dieted and followed the guidelines, only to have their arses kicked off stage.
That's the world of bodybuilding contests!

Yep - must be confusing for the ladies. I'm beginning to think that there's a tacit or unwritten rule that you can enter physique if you're hot/pretty and muscular but, if you're not hot/pretty but you are muscular it's bodybuilding you must enter.

Yeah, what were Shannon Courtney, Tina Chandler, Sarah Hayes, Debi Lasewski, Khalla Bullemor, Geraldine Morgan, and Lisa Geisbrecht all thinking.
