Between Pillow and Kay, I was made to feel it was OK to be a muscular woman. To become a bodybuilder and be appreciated reversed years and years of my own self consciousness. I will always be grateful to them for just being there with me. Kay would be my age now. She left us way too soon. Bummer.

She inspired many women I am sure. She was one of my favorites as a kid. I wish I could have met her. I met her hubby and others who spoke highly of her. They said she would have stayed in and around the sport for a long time. She was comfortable in the sport and aware of the fan base for both muscle and wrestling which she and her husband were both interested in expanding as a business.

Hopefully somewhere there is footage of Kay training with Pillow as I believe they did for a time at the Mecca if I am not mistaken. I seem to recall reading somewhere Kay trained with Pillow to prepare her physique for a competition.
